Hello there! I’m Mykara, an illustration student based in Hamburg Germany. Right now I’m working on my webcomic Goetia on tapas and generally just draw a lot. I hope to one day be able and get one of my comics published and maybe even make illustration my Job. Don’t shy away to write me any questions, I’m probably more anxious than you are!

What do we need now? - Help us to spread the information about the fact that the Russian LGBT Network is ready to evacuate people. Please think for whom this information can be useful. You can spread the information publicly or personally. Everyone who needs help can contact us by email or call the Hotline [phone]). The call is free all over Russia. - In accordance with the Russian legislation, every citizen can apply to the Investigative Committee with the demand to investigate the information about the crime published in mass media. We encourage everyone to apply (the template of the claim will be published tomorrow).

We understand that many people want to help those in need. But please remember that any uncoordinated actions can put in additional danger people in need and those who are ready to help. Therefore, we do not recommend to collect the addresses of people who are ready to provide temporarily shelter.

Be aware, that the situation with the human rights in the North Caucasus is truly difficult. Now people’s lives are endangered and the only way to help is the evacuation. The Russian LGBT Network has the necessary resources to evacuate people, there is a team that already makes every effort to safe lives. That is why we ask everyone to share with us the information about people in need and any offers of assistance.

the highlighting was mine- don’t dm people asking if they’re ok and if they know about this. even if you think your messaging system is secure. encryption is a two way street, and if their end is NOT secured it doesn’t really matter what your end has. especially since those arrested have had their phones confiscated, you do not want to give the authorities any more evidence. however, if you are in a position to do so, posting about it publicly will increase the odds that those who need this information see it.

this went up on cn’s instagram yesterday and i can’t believe it. seeing a major kid’s network teaching kids what nonbinary pronouns are, and that they’re valid, makes me so happy you have no idea

Russia is trying to ban legal transition for trans people

Elena Mizulina put forward a bill, that basically bans legal transition. It includes:

Adding the “sex” graph to the birth certificate. That graph cannot be changed in any way, and you also can’t get a new passport because of that.

banning (again) same-sex marriage, but now it is made based on the birth certificate so trans people cannot marry their loved ones.

banning the right to adopt children for the trans people

and WORSE, ALL THE CHANGES MADE IN THE PAST WILL BE DECLINED. People will get their old birth certificates back. the existing marriages will be no longer legal. And I don’t even want to think what will happen to the already adopted children of transgender parents

People are scared as fuck. I see lots of panic in russian social media and also on Twitter. They made a hashtag #ProtectRussianTransLives, so you can check it out for more info. And yeah, people started protesting. 

The protest hasn’t even started properly. The police detained all of them, called them slurs, misgendered them, asked about genitals. Those pigs arrested two women - Mila Zemtsova and Polina Symonenko

Mila is a journalist who came there with a license. The police immediately arrested her for the organization (!) of the protest which is absolute nonsense. They kept her in the police department for more than 48 hours and took away her phone. She got a fine for nothing.

(translation: I want to not be afraid to show my passport)

Polina’s case is worse. She was arrested for repeated violation of the procedure for holding a public action (hope I wrote it right). Polina was also kept in the department for 48+ hours (it is illegal), misgendered and deadnamed. She was beaten in the court for taking a legal break. They gave her 14 days in a men’s prison. 

This is hell. Please spread this post. People must know about this.

GUESS WHO’S BACK FROM THE DEAD

I missed this hellsite. Lot of stuff happened. I think it’s been two years, huh? Twitter isn’t doing it for me and instagram is kinda meh. So I’ll try to battle tumblr telling me I draw naked people all the time.

First of all, this is a painting I did of a friend’s and my Bill. She writes him in our current RP that might gets turned into a fix one day so I won’t spoil anything. But yeah, I’m still doing the human Bill thing. Just now I have the abilities to make it look good.

And before I go, I never was able to make the announcement here but I’m actually an illustration student now! That means I prob will do more school stuff than anything else but I’ll post some of that too.
