Set three years after rhett and darlin’ meet. they are happily married at this point. this part touches on rhett facing someone from his past, and it shows darlin’s character development from a timid, shy person to someone who is more confident in themselves, thanks to the security that rhett has provided her. it also explores new developments in their intimate life, such as the first time darlin’ calls him daddy.
