changing majors

Okay, I'm not sure if anyone else has been really into a study for so long and then suddenly you start to enjoy something completely different. I wanted to go to sports media but now I really enjoy finance. But anyways, I need help on this because I took so many classes in my life about sports. So any advice on where to start?

Update: I think I have decided to switch my major and just go with finance. It will take time to adjust to but this is what I want to do. My parents give me full authority or do it myself, not much help but at least I have the support.

Sophmore year of college! I was so excited to get back, I'm in a frat now and I really enjoy the guys. We party a lot but I also get a lot of my school work and private life done and organized.

financial reward

I got my first promotion at my job today. I feel like I did deserve it, and its about time that I get to make more money. Some people I work with weren't to happy about it but I was and that's all that matters.

Moving Away

Age 19

Today marks a week since I've moved into my college dorm. It's weird being away from home. I feel like I have taken up many new responsibilities. I have to get on myself about doing my own homework and laundry and finding food for myself instead of my parents reminding me to do homework, and making me meals. The first couple days I was excited to be living on my own, but now I'm starting to get sad and realize that I will never be the little kid living under my parents wing anymore.

Adjusting to college

I didn't think I'd be able to be away from my parents but after finally setting in and making goals for myself, I think I've figured it out. My study patterns and what I want to do in life is finally coming to my mind. I think I got the hang of this adulting thing now.

Argument at Work

I work as a waiter at Texas Roadhouse, and today was the first time I got yelled at by a customer. I was embarrassed and wanted to yell at first, but then I chose to be the bigger person, and instead of yelling I let my manager handle it.

College has been a wake up call. I now realize that I have to plan my time wisely in order to be successful. I now schedule my weeks so that I am able to be as successful as possible.

Responsibility

My mom made me do tons of chores today. She said i'm about to be an adult so I need to start learning responsibility. She even made me start writing my own checks and cashing them. I don't think I want to grow up yet.

Today I had to decide by top 3 colleges, I had to send in applications. it was a tough decision to narrow It down to 3. but I cant wait to hear back from those colleges.

First Loss

A week ago my grandpa died. I know I shouldn't have been afraid to cry at his funeral, but I was. I feel like if I cry in public it will make me seem less tough, and I would feel violated. When I'm alone it's so much easier to let everything out without feeling like my image is going to be attacked.

I need to start working more. I have a girlfriend now and I spend so much money on her. Everywhere we go I have to pay. I also can't forget the random gifts I have to get her because I want her to stay with me.

My acne has been getting worse and worse, its so hard to have perfect skin these days. I hope it won't effect how much my crush likes me.

Failed Test

I failed my math test today. It's probably because my teacher is so bad. He barely teaches our class anything useful. On top of that I was up so late the night before doing homework. That's why I failed!

Sophomore slump

Yeah, my friends didn't lie... sophomore year sucks. My parents keep expecting more from me. My grades aren't great, and my eating habits are awful. I catch myself not as happy as I once was. My parents wish they had their happy son back. It really is not that easy... what is happening to me?

I kissed a girl

age: 15

This is crazy guys. Today I went to the high school football game. This girl kept trying to talk to me all game. One of my junior friends told me that he thinks she might have a crush on me. Honestly I don't know why I did it but I asked her to get food after the game. I was on my way to a party after that though so my junior friends told her to come with. When the game was over we were walking to get food and that's when it happened.

She looked at me and laughed, I didn't make a joke so I wasn't sure why she laughed. When I asked why she laughed she smiled. I don't know what happened after that because her eyes got me. I just kissed her. I don't know how long but I did it. The rest of the night felt like a blur but I know it was fun because it was with her.

I'm gonna ask this girl out today. She's so hot. I hope she says yes. I can't believe I never prioritized girls before. Snapping them is the most important thing EVER.
