I'm going to be honest...I re-read this email ten times over and was utterly confused. I recognize that I don't fully know what I want with some of these emails. I don't know how well suited I am for romance in general... but don't you think what you're using these for is a bit... disingenuous?

I sympathize with your troubles tremendously, but it is a bit upsetting to know that maybe a match up I could have had that might have had some chance... was replaced by someone who doesn't want or need it at all because they already have a person.

I don't want to be rude. I really have enjoyed corresponding with you. But to know I've become a sort of "therapist" instead of potentially having had a shot with someone else is a little... I don't know. I understood when you said maybe we weren't compatible in some way. That would have been fine with me.

I feel stupid too because I figured I'd stick to talking with the nice connections I've made, but this is... I wonder who else might have matched with me or who would have wanted another match too.

I just... I think it would be better if we stopped writing for now. I hear there's a very great therapist in town actually. He seems very nice! If you ever wanted a professional to discuss your concerns.

I led with intention and purpose about connection seeking from the very start.

Our conversations have been riddled with serious and jokes. I was being honest that through this experiment you’ve changed my perspective on some things like a therapist which is incredible because I never saw that happening.

If you want to jump ship then I won’t chase after you. If I have upset you then I apologize. There was no pressure intended towards you in any way.

I don’t see my connections taking away from anyone’s experience. That if my name wasn’t on your list of however many that someone else might have been.

It’s partially just because of everything I have been forced to do my whole life but now…I feel like I’m stuck between just opening up and risking that or just disappearing altogether and taking my issues with me.

I probably don’t sound ok but I’m okay! A 7 is pretty good honestly. It’s been worse. My friends are also not the problem.

My friends would probably be shocked at all the shit I’ve been out through. Or what happens behind closed doors but my family on the other hand. Well that’s a mixed bag. Some are the problem and some are just hiding to not get caught up in the drama.

Sounds to me like you just might be a bit Shrek obsessed actually. Is it really essential to watch it a few more times?

I don't think anything at all will bother them. But they have dealt with a lot and I've already messed up a bit unintentionally. I don't know. They might want to know, but they really have so so so much to worry about. I want to be the least stressful to them. But I guess one can't fully control that.

In danger? I don't know, maybe you need to find someone who can handle more. That maybe you don't have to worry about them? But I don't know what you've gotten yourself into. But I bet the people who care about you would probably take the consequences if they could help you.

You don't sound fully okay, but I know how it can be to try to make things sound better.

I guess there is a nice security in anonymity. You can put yourself out there without any of the usual social risks or discomfort. That is nice, though I do prefer to talk to people face to face. I did want to try something new with this though... and I think it's been a good choice?

I don't think it's cheesy and lame. I want to be someone who can be a support to other people. And to make you feel safe through our emails is great! I'm grateful you trust me in a sense.

To be quite honest I think I've only really seen Shrek the one time, but I've still seen the memes all over the place so I feel like I've seen it a million times anyway.

I'm not sure that calling people out for hypocrisy or something is being open necessarily, but I do see you have a strong personality. But I understand keeping things to yourself. I do that a lot too. Or I try. I don't want to be a burden to the people I work with. But I think I might be too expressive to really avoid it being seen anyway.

I think some part of me thinks I’m a gambler. I think I’m clever enough and willing to take the risk but I have never really gotten into it much. The thrill of gambling does nothing for me.

I just enjoy a good game. Sitting around with friends and family and sharing over some cards or a board game. I feel like nobody has time for it anymore. Everyone is so locked into their screens.

I try to reserve judgement wherever I can until I get to know people very well. I know how easy it is to be judged based on a few facts and not the whole picture.

I haven't been able to spend that much time in NTO but that sounds like it would be a lot of fun. It must be nice to get a break from some of the familiar sights you see all the time.

I also prefer to do an activity. It can be fun to go dancing or going to a good sports match or something like that. Or I'm always happy to try something new. That way I might find a new potential favorite activity of my own.

Grand, I just don't even know where to start with books. I never go down to the book store and buy anything new. Half the ones I've got collecting dust on the shelf are old family books anyways. I've got a friend who read a book about a dragon maybe that would be a good choice.

Landman is good. Its about the states. Not sure if you are into shows about Texas but I think its good. Billy Bob is iconic. Prob one of my top 5 actors.

i have indeed seen yellowjackets! and yeah, i've been on the pirating ship for a while (and just in case anyone from the big government is reading this) IN MINECRAFT. i really enjoy that show, even if it's kinda lost me in the second half. just in it for the ride at this point lmao.

and while i do know billy bob thorton, it's not from Bad Santa. it's from Armageddon and Friday Night Lights. never heard of Landman before, but i'll check it out!

Landman is good. Its about the states. Not sure if you are into shows about Texas but I think its good. Billy Bob is iconic. Prob one of my top 5 actors.

Fury Road top 10. I remember the first time I saw that movie I think I sat there in the theater just staring at the screen. Not wanting that shit to end. Tom Hardy another iconic actor. No offense though you said Paddington? Like the bear in the raincoat?

Community is alright. Parks and Rec is better and The Office has some funny bits. I have this issue where I rewatch the same shit over and over again because I know I already like it. So at some point I will run out of shit to give you. My roster isn't that big.

Grand, I just don't even know where to start with books. I never go down to the book store and buy anything new. Half the ones I've got collecting dust on the shelf are old family books anyways. I've got a friend who read a book about a dragon maybe that would be a good choice.

School, family, deaths, town politics, and hell some of my relationships are drowning. You ever feel like you are standing still and shit is just happening around you? Welcome to my life. Just never do. Really a live sport event is like a concert but the people have talent and you know they have to compete! Maybe I am just spoiled with the US lifestyle going to baseball games. Photography is cool! Maybe you could turn your phone off or something and just ditch out into Enchantra and take some pictures!

Grand, Yeah I am not much of a dragon guy but if people say its good and I trust those people don't you think I should read it? I don't know. Much cooler creatures than dragons in my opinion just not many books about them.

I have people like that in my life. I am just the problem. They have a lot going on and what I have going on is way worse. Plus if I start peeling back the layer of my onion I am only going to cause more problems for them. Its really deep. We don't have to get into all that right now. I guess I am just trying to say I have people I am just a shithead.

Grand - I have a bunch of books at my spot. Can't remember the last time I cracked one open that wasn't school related. Life gets just too busy these days. The funny thing is I am not an introvert. Generally I think my buddies would say I am the life of the party. I just have closed myself off. So maybe with age or some shit - I have become one. Well I love sports. So never going to turn down goin' to a game. Playing is great too but activity wise who doesn't love some sports. My work specialty is very specific too so I'd do just about anything to do something involving that. Lately though I just like to stay by the house. So back to your introvert theory. Sports, okay. That's cool. I... don't know a lot about sports to be perfectly honest, but I do get why people get excited about them! Though staying by the house does tend to lean towards introversion. Then again... due to circumstance my roommate stays by the house a lot but I wouldn't say that he was an introvert at all.

I really like photography? I don't get a lot of free time but I like to take pictures when I can. It sort of calms my mind and destresses me. I don't get a lot of time to myself, but when it's just me and my camera... it's nice.

I am curious about your work, but I know we shouldn't get specific. Is there something that you really hope for with all of this?
