I donāt understand how some people think Az just wants Elain because of sexual attraction or because he feels he deserves her.
When Az was in love with Mor, he was still able to be around her and interact with her. With Elain, he can barely interact with her without wanting to touch her and be close to her.
If Az can hold himself back from Mor and still maintain a good relationship with her, why canāt he do that with Elain? Why does he have to completely abandon family dinners and limit his visits to the River House just to keep himself from disobeying Rhysā orders?
I think what he feels for Elain is stronger than what he felt for Mor no matter if they are ātrue matesā or not.
