As a med student I always felt like my attending were so mature and had their lives together.

As a hot mess attending I wonder if people think I have my life together or if it is painfully obvious I’m a hot mess.

Feeling old and grumpy as I’m filling out a form for work and have to scroll to find both my birthday and preferred pronouns.

Thinking of starting an “educational” ticktock featuring videos such as “if you keep misusing the word lethargic I’m going to hit you in the head until you actually are lethargic” and “no a catheter urine sample does not mean we are taking your 7 day old daughters virginity.”

Feeling my age.

Went to the trampoline park with my kid and kind of got stuck for a moment when I jumped into a pit of foam cubes and immediately sunk to the bottom.

I will never understand people who come to the ED for abdominal pain convinced it’s appendicitis then yell at me when they can’t have anything to eat.

All the legislation coming out around LGBTQ+ and reproductive health are making me so angry I can’t even find words right now.

Studying in public increases the chances a practice question will include a picture of genitalia.

“Why yes that is a small child’s penis I’m looking at…”

Board studying is starting to stress me out. So I splurged on a discovery plus subscription so I can de stress with crappy reality television.
