I feel the fetishizing of a real disease within this post is a bit sick, but I also feel everyone responding to this is ignoring the main point: A man doesn't regularily get mammograms because breast cancer is predominant within women, but men can also get breast cancer. MEN can get BREAST cancer.
I have always been a huge advocate for breast cancer awareness, as I have family members and friends who have had/experienced breast cancer. I know people who have had a single/double mastectomy, I have seen the scars and the loss of both hair and pride.
I understand it is hurtful that a man is using the very real risk of disease that his wife faces to justify his dissatisfaction with his body, but can we educate ourselves and this person that it isn't funny to joke about cancer, but men also have a risk of breast cancer.
Although breast cancer is much more common in women, men can develop breast cancer. In the United States, less than 1% of all breast cancers
Please don't ignore the fact that breast cancer is real and it can affect ANYONE. Women may have a larger risk of breast cancer, but men still have a chance of suffering from this horrific disease. Educate yourselves, so you can educate others, before you shame them and possibly make them ignorant to their own health.
This is a reminder to also do weekly breast checks.
Do you think friendship between a man and a woman is possible?
This is a very difficult question to answer, because I can argue yes/no.
Yes because not all friendships between men and women are between two straight people. Sometimes the man is homosexual, sometimes the women is. Sometimes friendships are between two married individuals, or are mutual friendships which started with the man being friends with the woman's partner.
Anyone can argue that the man might have sexual motives, or may think of the woman in a sexual manner. But, is limiting all contact between men and women really going to solve any issues regarding the patriarchy or societal views?
Men will think of women in all different ways, positive and negative. I feel you could argue the same with women having twisted motives or thoughts about her male friends. So, I do think it is possible for men and women to be friends; however, I don't want to ignore the "double standards" within these friendships (The man might have sexual thoughts of the woman, the woman might have sexual thoughts of the man, therefore either person could be actively sexualising the other person).

I really hope that you, Anon, do find peace but with this movement you certainly won't - plus you will continue to damage several people and especially women while supporting these ideas.
I also love how I am labeled a "danger to the world" because all I said was that I refer to people according to their biological sex. LOL
This is related to the question someone else asked about “homemade porn.” I’m curious what you (and other radblrs) think.
If a couple films or takes pictures of themselves doing a sexual act, do you consider that to be porn, no matter what? And further to that, do you feel that taking a nude pic and sending it to a partner is porn too?
Any form of media, whether it be a photo or video, of one or more individuals who are naked is porn. You can't consent to everyone who sees the media, because anyone can send it to anyone, and anyone can find it. When you put something online, whether it be through messages or an app, it will never be erased. Anyone can find it, and it can be distributed in many ways and forms.
