Sick tradition

I'm sick 😷 It's a weird winter holiday tradition we (I mean me and my family) have unwillingly established. There's been no winter holidays in the past 7 years, were we (or at least one of us) wouldn't get sick 😣 I am completely voiceless, I cannot breathe properly, I have cough and temperature, and I have annoying headache, especially in the morning 😩 My YogaFix journey had to pause, of course, but I really miss it. I hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas! 🎄

I got my heart broken and I survived, I failed 3 courses in university and graduated, I got rejected in the very first job I applied for and got promoted yesterday, I went through hard times with my family but then two years later, we laughed our hearts out over lunch, The closest friends disappointed me several times but I made new friends and loved them with all my heart. I did it once, I can do it again.

I NEEDED THIS SO BADLY

YOGA FIX 90. DAY 12, DAY 13, and DAY 14. DAY 12. Butts and Guts. Ah, with all the seasonal business my workouts suffer a bit, as I often have to skip days 😯 Anyway, day 12 was really good. I got a nice workout. It's quite dynamic, with a couple of repetitive squat-like moves. Definitely makes you feel your butt and quads 👍 DAY 13. Yoga HIIT Ab Blaster. Couldn't think of a better title for this routine. This one was a big challenge to me, since here again are many Chaturangas and LOTS of core work. My abs are still sore today even though I did this workout 2 days ago. Once again it shows I have to work more on my core strength as well as muscle endurance 💪 DAY 14. Yoga to Relax. Finally a mild relaxation flow 😊 So needed and deserved! This routine doesn't make you move much, in fact, you just hold a couple of relaxing poses for several minutes. But to my surprise, I still felt super open and stretched out after my practice 😲 If you manage to merge your physical relaxation with your emotional and mental ones, you can find yourself absolutely refreshed after your practice is over ☺ Another yoga magic 😊 Getting back to what I said in the beginning, I've been so very busy, that I had to switch from daily yoga practices to practicing every other day. But there's a silver lining in this situation too. Earlier, it would really, and I mean REALLY bug me, that I couldn't stick to a plan. I would bash myself and stress, and freak out, and sometimes even reject some kinds of food on those 'skipped' days 😦 But right now I am trying my best not take it personally and let myself accept the fact that my life is not just fitness. And I can say, I have a huge progress with changing my mindset into more healthy one. I find mysef being more at peace and less stressed about weight and shape 😊
