“I wonder if this is a place A-ya will like”
The words echoed down the halls and Lewis had to stop writing. Had he left the door open? It didn’t matter at this point, all he cared about was the fact someone was here, and had plans to invite others?
Maybe he should install a lock, but then again he was trying to attract a very specific person…
Closing the journal he got up, floating into the entrance way with an angry look; it didn’t take him long to find the owner of the voice, hair flaring up as he stared them down “What do you think you’re doing?!” Lewis ‘voice’ boomed as he floated towards the unwanted visitor.
-- “ I wonder if this is a place A-ya will like... ”
He didn’t like to make muttering to himself a habit, but every so often he found himself voicing his thoughts rather than keeping them quiet in his mind. But it should be okay -- he was alone. And even if someone else heard him, he was just an ordinary teenage boy who catered to his friend’s interests, right?
Of course that was some part of it -- when A-ya decided to show up in this place as well, he would want to know where to find the best urban legends, where the best haunted spots were located, all kind of stuff like that. So of course it was up to C-ta to research beforehand. A-ya would certainly appreciate his efforts. A-ya would smile one of his rare smiles of pure interest as he would send a chill down his spine with his own terrifying stories. That was the plan at least. Otherwise there was no way a person like C-ta who had no particular interest in the otherworldly would find himself willingly seek out a haunted building.
Admittedly what he felt when entering was indeed a chill run down his spine. There was just that certain atmosphere inside an old, dusty manor that you couldn’t shake off, even more so if entering with the mindset that it might be haunted. When an eerie voice did actually sound in the corridors, C-ta could feel his pulse hastening in anticipation, but what appeared the next moment was... kind of disappointing. Staring at the poorly put together skeleton-seeming creature that appeared, the first thought that popped into his mind was, that this had to be some kind of pun. Must have been the others at his school, the place where he heard the rumours, who wanted to get some kicks out of fooling poor sods who believed them. He was half expecting to find cameras hidden in the corners of the corridors if he looked well enough -- C-ta of all people knew where to best hide such equipment. Instead a sigh left him.
-- “ This won’t do at all. I need to find some scarier place. ”
