I've been wanting a cute pair of bloomers for some time now and finally decided to get a pair! They just arrived the other day so of course I had to make an outfit around them. I do want to change out the cardigan that I have for a longer one, maybe knee length? I feel like it would look better. That or maybe a lace duster for summer.

I so love how this outfit turned out! This is for a rave at a nightclub that I've been invited to later this week. I've been wanting to do something with the mesh top that I've had for a while and realized that I could tie it and give it a whole new look! I may change out the necklaces though. I also plan to do my hair differently, maybe wavy?

So, I've been in a bit of an experimental phase with fashion as of late as I am trying to work through my wardrobe and actually get back into styling what I have. With that said, I have been taking my looks in a more alternative / darker direction (I may have realized how much black clothing that I own lol) so expect a little bit of a tone shift. Here's to wearing what my 13 year old self always wanted to wear but never had the chance to.

New coord! This skirt has been in my closet for a bit but I haven't really done much with it because of the color. It came in more peachy than expected compared to it's listing. That being said, I really like how it pairs with this cardigan! I like how casual this coord turned out overall. I can see myself wearing this during spring when it warms up a little bit. I definitely want to pair this with that brown purse that I crocheted awhile back.

I finally have space for pictures again! With good lighting!! It's going to be a bit before I'm fully decorated but at least it's a start. Now I just need the motivation to put coords together again lol.

So uh, I'm not dead! This past year has been kinda wild and I haven't really been active on social media. I'd like to change that though! I've come to realize how much I miss posting my art and outfits. With that said, in my time away from tumblr I've continued to make art in some way so I have a few things to post.

First up, earrings for my mother! These were her birthday presents for last year. She told me the colors that she wanted and said to make whatever came to mind. She also specified that she wanted something with rainbow colors for pride month. These are what I came up with! The knife earrings were the only set she didn't know about before hand. We both love horror movies and true crime documentaries so I thought it would be a nice surprise. Overall she loved them and is already asking for more!

Newest project! I had an assignment for class to make something death / dying related and decided to make a memento mori locket!

This is the first time I've ever really used paint on a clay project, but only because no matter how clean I thought my work surface was, tiny bits of lint found their way onto the white clay.

Overall, I think I prefer it with the paint. It gives the bones more of a weathered look. If I end up making something like this again though, I think I'll get the matte or satin version of the sealer to see if that will look better.

Materials used: Fimo soft polymer clay, stainless steel pendant blank, stainless steel bail, acrylic paint, sterling silver chain, and gloss polyurethane sealant.

Time: 8-10 hours, give or take. There was a lot of trial and error for the skull and wooden backgrounds, as well as the small petals.

Made a cross ribbon dress for summer, using smocked cotton fabric 🖤
