Royed Week: Day 2 - Similarities/differences or parallels

Falling asleep while researching.

A grown-up post-Promised Day Ed asking Roy out on a date though, and Roy having absolutely no fucking idea how to take it and actually being quite flustered but agreeing out of sheer intrigue.  Ed takes him out to dinner, dancing, the whole shebang Roy usually reserves for his dates.  Roy never would have thought Ed had that in him, much less find himself on the receiving end of his courtship.
