Act like you’re blessed. Talk like you’re blessed. Walk like you’re blessed. Think like you’re blessed. Smile like you’re blessed. Dress like you’re blessed. Put actions behind your faith, and one day you will see it become a reality.
And the retribution for an evil act is an evil one like it, but whoever pardons and makes reconciliation - his reward is [due] from Allah. Indeed, He does not like wrongdoers.
Everything starts small then ends big. Except pain. It starts great then ends as if it was never there. So glory be to the One who has given us strong emotions and passions then changes it into a flicker that doesnt revive.

When you make a habit of listening to Quran all the time instead of humming songs or randomly singing lyrics. You’ll randomly recite Ayat.
I often get the waswassat of “How can you still be a muslim, wear the hijab and pray, whilst you do all the sins that you do?” and every time i hear it, this nagging feeling i just think and say out loud,
“I’m a sinner, not a disbeliever. There’s a big difference.”
And the thoughts go away for a bit. Being a sinner is vastly different than being a disbeliever. We can believe in Allāh and worship but we all have shortcomings, we all sin. Just because we sin, a little bit or a lot, doesn’t mean we aren’t deserving of guidance. Or forgiveness. Or of having any sort of īmān.
“i’m a sinner, not a disbeliever.”
So know that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and ask forgiveness for your sin, and also for (the sin of) believing men and believing women. And Allah knows well your moving about, and your place of rest (in your homes).
[Muhammad:19]
** The most important principle in Islaam is awareness, not performance. It’s awareness of Allaah’s supremacy and that’s the primary morality. When we make morality about how good we are, then we’re inadvertently centering ourselves when the point is to transcend our limited selves by surrendering to Allaah. And He follows the command to know with seeking forgiveness and not performing any other act of worship because all worship is predicated on the premise that sin and fallibility is inevitable. And in fact that’s why we need ibaadah, to find protection from ourselves and the evil of the world. To know the divine will means to know the unchanging order in life. This is what gives peace and allows us to go easier on ourselves because we realize we’re not meant to uphold the cosmos. We realize there is space for our pain and imperfections and Allaah won’t abandon us ever, and it is us that abandon when we dissociate from this truth. When we try to manage the existential aspect of life.
Things were meant to be in a flux because that’s when intentions are made apparent. And if your intentions fall apart, just make more authentic intentions. There’s no punishment for messing up.
Indian?
No?
"People are not pleased with their Creator even though He provides for them, so how can they be pleased with a created being like themselves?"
Imam Hasan al-Basri (rahimahu Llah)
Allāh has placed the world beneath your feet, why then do you carry it on your back?
The sea didn’t claim the life of baby Musā despite him being thrown inside when he was at his weakest, whereas the very same sea claimed the life of the Pharaoh despite him crossing it when he was at his very strongest.
Whoever is with Allāh, his weakness will not harm him, and whoever is distant from Allāh, his strength will not benefit him.
Expecting the best from Allāh is a secret ingredient to happiness.
So…
‘What then is your thought about the Lord of the worlds?’
– Qur’ān | 37:87
Bajirao Mastani (2015)
“Know that the first deception of the Devil is that he discourages and dissuades people from seeking knowledge. This is because knowledge is light, and so if he extinguishes their light he can address them in darkness whichever way he wants.“
- Ibn al Jawzi rahimullah
If Allah knows there is anything good in your hearts,
He will give you better than that which has been taken away from you,
And He will forgive you. And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
— Surah Al-Anfal [8:70]
Our hearts were only created to love Allah and nothing else can fill the emptiness in our hearts other than love for Him.
“Only in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find tranquility.”
[13:28]
Your soul won’t accept the substitutes you seek to fill the void in your heart and it will only burn and ache until you find what it truly desires: a connection with the One who created it.
Take a step towards Him, and He will take ten steps towards you. Go to Him walking, and He will come to you running. This is His beautiful promise to us.
