“I guess you can say that.”
“halloween must suck.”
I’m fine on the stand.
“It’s not funny…”
“you got a weird thing with masks?”
“ You want to get specific, then it would be assault on a fellow officer. Oh and you’re in Stonefield, in the UK. People keep showing up here. You’re not the first and you probably wont be the last. ”
“Oh, really? Who you with? Brooklyn PD, myself. What does ‘showing up’ mean?”
“Too bad.” Shego singsongs, examining her hands with a sigh. “Yeah, I guess some weird mojo’s got us all in here. Three houses, or something.”
“I’m not really interested in how I got here, just how I’m leaving. Yeah, I’m in....the black house? Too bad I’m not sticking around.”
“Well, because you asked so nicely, we’re in Stonefield.”
“Thanks. You never know the kind of people you’re talking to.”
“How about if you try that we’ll see which is better, me or your ability to run while electricity is flowing through your body uninhibited.”
“That line’s not gonna work on me.”
“ How about we forget the deal, I tell you where you are out of common courtesy and you don’t touch me, because that would be assault. ”
“Police brutality, actually. I can settle for that. So, where am I?”
“Stonefield, I think. It’s in the UK. And you couldn’t break my arms if you tried, though you might put up a fair fight.”
“Luckily you answered my question, so you don’t have to find out. The UK? Interesting.”
“Let’s make a deal. You tell me where I am and I won’t break your arms.”
“I think I’ve… lost my dog.”
“let’s go find it.”
“Seriously?? If this is your idea of a sick prank it isn’t funny!“
“not mine. pretty funny, but not mine.”
“—it hurts. i don’t know why, it’s healed, the bite i had— it was there before i was dropped here and then it was gone. like nothing happened. but NOW it’s back and i’m going to die, aren’t i ?? it killed me last time and— i don’t want to die again…”
rosa was slightly uncomfortable; first she was dropped in a random place and now there was a girl who needed comforting. usually she let santiago handle these situations as she was much more of a people’s person (and all around nicer). “okay, i need you to take a deep breathe. what bit you and how long ago?”
“For..?”
“You shouldn’t sneak up on people like that.”
“You should be more aware of your surroundings; I was just walking.”
“Sometimes things scare us,but we find ways to cope.”
“Unless you’re dead.”
Selina had just managed to get away with another act of thievery, running down the crowded sidewalk in hopes to lose her victim on her tail. Quickly, she stealthily turned into an alley, but only managing to run directly into someone, Selina stumbling over and onto the cold, hard ground. “Dude, watch where you’re going.”
Rosa quickly caught herself after stumbling a bit, hands reaching out to grab the younger girl by shoulders in an attempt to pull her off the ground. “Watch where I’m going? Where are you running off to so fast?”
