Dinosaur!
Loved the look of this little guy so I just had to make him
He's a little wonky but it's fine.
Pattern can be found here
My second (third?) attempt at making socks, this time with actual sock weight yarn
Decided this year I wanted to make a pair of socks I could actually wear, so I did!
I really like the yarn and got it to match up fairly well on both socks.
The yarn and pattern was from a kit found here
Forgot to share my finished blanket
I won't show the whole thing but you get the idea, and this one includes one of the cats!
It took me like 5 months to finish, but it looks really cool
Pattern can be found here
Not crochet but did want to show off these cool origami hydrangeas I made a while back
It was quite tricky at first but when I got the hang of it I made several because I loved how they looked
Here's a tutorial
Tiny stars!
Thought these might end up smaller but they're still pretty tiny (see pen for scale)
I can't find the original pattern I used but this one seems pretty similar
Some little fishies!
Tried a couple different colour schemes with this one, but maybe will try more in the future because they're small and cute
Oops, been a while since I posted.
That's because I've been spending most of my crochet energy on this bookshelf blanket that I got really excited about!
It has taken me several months and I'm not quite finished yet but it's going well!
Pattern can be found here
It's a star!
Very cute pattern but the centre is a little bit pointy
Pattern can be found here
Little birb
I really like that you can make it sit on your hand
Pattern can be found here
It's finally finished!!
My Unprepared Casters crochet project has taken me 3 months but I've reached a point where I'm really happy with it
For the corners, I tried to use the hosts colours to tie it all together (blue for Haley, purple for Gus, and blue for Amelia)
Thank you for everyone's support and kind notes! And if you've seen this but have never listened to Unprepared Casters, you should!
I'll probably go back to posting random small crochet projects on this blog, but if anyone has any suggestions for things to make, podcast related or otherwise, please send me an ask!
If you want to see all the squares up close, you can scroll back on my blog, or I'll leave links to the individual posts under the cut
It's not finished yet, but here's the progress on my UC crochet project!
It took a while to connect them all because a) I have less time at the moment, and b) that centre square wanted to cause problems
Next step will be to fill in the corners!
Day 12! The final day of my project to make an icon for each arc* of Unprepared Casters
And for our finale, we have Arthur Ashcreek in his dragon form for Arc 7: Wizards Off the Coast!
Took me a while to decide on this one, because I thought it would be a bit too complicated but I really like how it turned out, especially for my final square
Now all is left is to sew them all together! And I'll post that whenever |I finish it
*up to Arc 12
It's Day 11 and we're nearly done
Today it's a (sky) pirate hat for Arc 6: The Glacerian Trail!
Took a while to finalise this design, especially as I wanted to try and model it off Remeny's official art, but I quite like what I've ended up with - little eirden included
If you like what I've been doing with this project, please go to this post to help me finish the final design
Day 10!
Today we have the 'Loser Lars' hand symbol for Arc 3: Gonna Raise Hell!
This one's very Bombyx themed since according to this clip, it was her who came up with it
Day 9 of making UC icons
This time it's simply fire for Arc 12: Die Hot!
Nice and simple for this one, but definitely accurate for the arc
Day 8 of my UC crochet project
This time it's an eirden for Arc 5: Lives of the Party!
Basically just an owl's head in the colours of the eirden art we've seen, and in two different lightings so you can see the little grey markings.
