Okay, so we all know that Logan at least has the ability to rap, right? Imagine Logan as a kid being into rap music, but then Patton confiscated it after hearing cuss words in it, so Logan decided to start writing his own. This ten year old kid with suspenders and a bowtie just ripping straight bars. Probably put a hat on backward and sunglasses to look cool while he did it. Somehow found a golden chain to wear.
some people will be like āI wonder why fanfic writers donāt share their works anymorešā and then this is them when a writer is kind enough to share something they write ā as a hobby, for their own enjoyment ā with them for free.
some people really donāt realize how privileged they are that they get fanfics for free. imagine having access to something for free because someone is kind enough to share it with you⦠and then being rude, entitled and an ungrateful pos to that person who was kind enough to share their creation with you for free
āalmost 1 year is a lil too much for meā fuck off. fanfic writers donāt owe you anything. one of my favorite fics was updated after 13 years, and what I did is that I thanked the author for choosing to continue the work, I didnāt act like a spoiled toddler by asking why they didnāt update sooner. and even if a writer chooses to abandon their fic permanently with no explanation, that is their choice, their hobby, their decision. they donāt owe your entitled ass anything.
you people let tiktok rot your brains to the point you see everything as content farm and engagement. not a piece of art created by the artistās love and passion. itās dystopian.
anything u think about YOUR life after 10pm is bs to be ignored. anything u think about a characterās life after 10pm should be posted about online and expanded on for paragraphs. :)
With the news of RTD leaving Doctor Who again, I'd like to throw my hat into the ring to be the new showrunner. 'cause you know, why not at this point? My only experience with writing for Doctor Who is this previous post where I shuffled some character dialogue around and still managed to use the phrase "I suppose" three times in the first five lines because I did no further editing whatsoever, but, and this is the key part, I would have marginally less contempt for the audience than RTD and I would be sure to wrap up every plot thread he left hanging in a way that is so unsatisfying it will make my subsequent weak writing all the better by comparison.
Prompt(s): Frightened hare, Broken window panes, Trail of coins.
This is a writing snippet, for anyone in need of a story starter.
Light trails flicker through the overgrown shaded forest full of elm trees, speckled light illuminating a lose bark path that moves through the lush green grass uninterrupted stones acting as a protecting to keep the overgrowth at bay.
Roman waves his sword back and forth in front of himself, swinging like a pendulum, left, right, left, right . Effectively cutting down anything that is obstructing his path forwards to nowhere. The trail leads him further into the woods, no end insight as it grows dimmer with the canopy of trees overhead obscuring more light.
Cut. Swish.Cut. Swish.
Sharp glares of light catch his eye and he has to look away, sure that his sword captures one of the few light rays at a particular angle, until he is swinging his sword infront of him to cut down overgrown brambles reaching out from the creeping in trees that narrow in on him, lining his visible pathway to nowhere.
Another glare catches him this time, but it does not come from his sword. He looks past, further on to the floor are geometric shapes that poke out as if trying to escape from deep beneath the earths surface. First just a small sharp corner. Then another. The next one more of it was shown.
Glass?
Continuing forwards with each of these shapes growing more and more prominent as they protrude from the ground, like stepping stones. Reaching one almost fully protruding, he can see they stained pieces of glass, cut and jagged.
How odd.
It is a path way. His pathway. So he follows, using each one as a stepping stone, guiding him.
Sometime passes with a string of uninterrupted thoughts when out the corner of his eye sat upon a large stone rock illuminated by a suns ray, sits a hare as though conjured out of thin air.
How had it gotten here, on the rock?
Taking a closer look, he noticed the animal holding something tucked away in its mouth, unblinking. Stepping closer he advances an arm outstretched to take something.
"I shall not harm you." He assures, gentle although with some melodic tune to his voice.
Boots press further into the path, sinking deeper as he steps off the stained glassed pathway and onto natures floor. Outstretching, the hare vanished before him.
"Whereā" Twisting to look around, like it is a trick of his eyes deceiving him. Confused. Rough stone can be felt as he grazes it with his hand, inspecting it as though it would be the thing to his questions. A soft exasperated sigh escapes him, turning back to reorientate himself on the stained glass path when the hare reappears.
"What."
An airy glimmer of brown upon grey brings his attention back over to the reasonably sized boulder protruding from the lavish greenery. Bright amber eyes looking back at him. Blinking.
"That's not possible." He mutters under his breath shocked at the sight of witnessing the creature dissapear and reappear within moments of each other. Leaning into its direction.
The hare sits , proudly perched. A golden coin hanging from it's mouth, the glint catching Roman's eye. He takes a step back off the stained glass path, the hare disappears yet again. Turning his attention back and forth between the stained glass path and the boulder solving this puzzle.
Returning to step back onto the path and there the hare appears, once again.

Summary: Roman and Virgil talk. They both leave with something to consider
"What was it like?" Roman had joined Virgil on the stairs, where the emo nightmare occupied. He shuffled to sit on a lower step facing up the stairs to where Virgil was. He never really questioned Virgil about what it was like before the shift. And Virgil never openly spoke about it. A mutual unspoken agreement that it wasn't a topic freely up for discussion.
Virgil looked up through his lashes, pausing the scrolling on his phone, noticing how Princey came to him instead of the other way round. "What was what like?" He sounded bored, nonchalant.
"Living with my brother and Janus." Virgil could hear it was coming from a genuine place of curiosity, not meaning to pry for the sake of it. "What was it like. You don't have to talk about it but ⦠sometimes I wonder what it would be like to share a space with them, we never really spent time together Remus and I." The tone soured to something more sounding like sadness.
"Remus, well he's nothing like you." He tried to cheer the Prince up giving an icon quirky smile, not toothy but cheeky. "Did you ever spend any timeā"
"No⦠no. Its been new, different. Unexpected with the change of things round here. Part of why I was asking. You know my brother more than I do. I guess it is coming from a place of lost time." He reasoned, as his gaze shifted from Virgil to check his nails. He shook off the question which made a tang of guilt strike through him. "I cant say I've been a good brother, barely put in any effort now that he is here, but what am I supposed to say to him. 'Hey Remus wanna go into the imagination and slay some things?'"
"It's a start." Virgil encouraged, as he slid down a step to be closer to Roman. "Wheres this coming from roman. Don't feel guilty about Remus. Or that you don't know what he enjoys. I mean it's not hard to figure it out but you know where I'm going with that."
"Look at you Mr wise guy." For the first time he smiled at Virgil, a proper smile, not one that hid sadness behind it, which earnt him a playful shove from his friend. "Ow." He feigns.
"Where to start. Remus Janus and I never really did birthdays, not separate birthday in the traditional sense. more⦠when we met. For us that was the easiest way to do things. There wasn't much to celebrate but that gave us something since it was the only thing we really had." Virgil continued. "So every year we would play rock paper scissors and whoever won the most rounds got to have the birthday that year."
Roman furrowed his brow lost and very much confused. "Why didn't you just share the day? Or pick three different days?" He questioned as that would be how it most make sense.
Virgil rolled his eyes scoffing with no heat behind it. "It's like you've never lived in the subconscious." He sarcastically remarked.
"I haven't. I mean, not to draw attention to it but ⦠you lot were labelled the blindsides."
He echoed the word, "were." And hit Princey with a pointed look, things had changed since the beginning way back when. Something they'd both worked on and tried to improve. Their friendship had come leaps and bounds although still hitting bumps in the road they made it work.
A beat of silence and Roman was the first who broke it. "I ā stayed away from there. It wasn't that it didn't appeal me, but." The words caught in his throat. "It scared me." Words were forced past his lips at the admission where he chose to confide in Virgil.
"I mean you weren't to know. I was rarely acknowledged and Janus and Remus. Honestly? I can't say I saw much of them in the beginning. but when things settled, and we worked out or rhythm, it was smooth sailing." A moment of thought and hummed before he added on. "For the most part."
Roman laughed at the scrunched face, knowing it probably wasn't something Virgil settled in to lightly. "That bad huh?" A raised brow prompting for something.
"Did you know your brother had his own version of Rock, paper Scissors. If he ever offers you a game, do yourself a favour and say no. You'll thank me later."
They sat together laughing, with Virgil who chose not to explain anymore than that, and Roman who took that onboard.
"But Janus. I know we have our differences but I have to hand it to him."
"Why do you."
"Really, Roman." The tone fell flat, warning his friend he was pushing it a little.
A nod. "Yes really. We're here talking about it, and you don't have to but I'd like to know everything from back then, it would help me to understand. I mean I get why one would have issues with Janus, I know I do." He quipped, making a point as he turned away. Worried he might have crossed the line with curiosity but he meant well.
"You know Janus. And as the embodiment of anxiety most things are bound to make me uneasy. He makes me unsettled, but lies are just another part of that. I know everyone here means well and tries to help Thomas in their own way but it wont be perfect and well have grievances with that. It's just how it'll be. Our issues⦠are ours. Maybe one day well try and work together but for now, its not going to happen."
"What changed."
"Nothing."
The prince tried to fathom. "Nothing? Surely something must have to create such a void between ā" Lost for words.
Virgil was quick to cut him off. "No, not that. You assume we always got along, but we never did." He shrugged, unable to face Roman, and moving back up the stairs to create some space pulling the hoodie sleeves over his hands.
Virgil seemed to drift. The staircase shrouded in silence and Roman wasn't entirely too sure how to continue. Thankfully Virgil solved that for him. "Remus was always easier to deal with. When those days rolled around, me and Janus actually had to learn to cheat at rock paper scissors. One of the things we bonded over I guess." Roman watched as Virgil laughed to himself recalling the memory. "We played Remus' version once and quickly learnt that cheating at the game ensuring either Janus or I won was the way to go." He laughed. "Janus actually taught me. He figured it out then helped me practice. Neither of us particularly enjoyed Remus' birthdays. It was bad enough trying to celebrate mine or Janus' with Remus as a guest." Remarking as he rambled on talking to himself more than Roman in the moment. "But when the only thing you have is each other, then that's what you learn to love and then miss the most when its gone." Roman wanted to comfort Virgil but decided against it for the time being.
"Thank you."
"For what?"
"Talking. Not shutting me down. Being honest." Roman moved up a step to be closer to Virgil.
"A word of advice. Don't wait. Spend time with Remus. He's your brother Roman. I know he can be a lot, but you'll be better off for it, you both will."
Roman tilted his head, in consideration of Virgil's words.
"Promise me you'll think it over at the very least. Because before you know it you'll be looking back wishing you hadn't spent so much time not making an effort to bond with him." Virgil encouraged, distracted with the hem of loose threads on the cuffs he fiddled with.
Nodding, he assured the other. "I will." Noticing how Virgil shoulders seemed to relax at that.
Virgil stood stretching. "Im glad we talked." He descended down the stairs, passing Roman as he did so, where he paused. "And ⦠I'll think about it." A feeling lightened inside him somewhat when he saw the encouraging smile Roman shot him with before he left him sat on the stairs, alone to think over their conversation.
