i don’t know who needs to hear this, but you’re so much more than the things you’ve been put through. this world will try to harden your heart. please don’t let it! people will try to make you believe your softness is weakness, but they have no idea how much strength it takes to remain soft. your loving heart isn’t a flaw, it’s your power. there’s beauty in your sensitivity. ⊹˚. ❤︎.𖥔 ݁ ˖

you are doing better than you give yourself credit for. you are still standing, still pushing forward, still believing. and that matters more than you know.

Why are you hiding your identity ? Are you that scared huh? 😂
Sickening.
in response to the free palestine anon, i am giving you the opportunity to write your five favorite things about Israel and/or Judaism ✡️
ON IT!
I’ve decided to do both lol
Israel:
1. Spontaneity and improvisation culture: In Israel, many things happen without much planning in advance, and that is completely normal. For example, pol say “we’ll see tonight” and it actually turns into a gathering of 10+ people within an hour, Even more “formal” events often remain flexible and change on the spot.
2. Very direct communication style: People in Israel tend to speak very directly, even with people they don’t know well. It can feel intense sometimes bc we’re very honest. Basically, We are very open w/ one another, so you can find yourself listening a stranger telling you their life story w/o any prob.
3. Humor as a coping mechanism: Humor is a central part of Israeli daily life, even in stressful situations. It’s part of our strong mental resilience.
4. Fluid social boundaries: In Israel we are very warm towards each other, very open and friendly. The mutual support in Israel is amazing, if someone is in need, dozens and even hundreds of people will come together in no time to help. Strangers here start deep conversations on buses or in public spaces as if they’re friends from kindergarten.
5. Improvisation and practical problem solving: In Israel, there is a very strong tendency to deal with situations in real time rather than waiting for ideal conditions or formal solutions. This creates a culture where improvisation is not seen as “messy,” but as a normal and even valued skill. We learn how to maneuver through situations without a problem.
Judaism:
1. Shabbat: Shabbat is considered a holy day of rest dedicated to family and the soul, and it doesn't matter if you are secular or religious, It has a traditional importance to the whole people. On Friday evening (in Judaism, Friday evening is already considered Shabbat), we light 2 candles for Shabbat and do “Kiddush” with family and friends to welcome Shabbat. Kiddush is a religious ceremony that includes a meal, and it's a real experience. It's like there's a holiday every week.
2. Mezuzah: it’s a small parchment scroll that’s placed on the doorpost of a Jewish home. It serves as a reminder of faith and Jewish identity every time someone enters or leaves the house. In a broader sense, it symbolizes that even ordinary spaces like a home are meant to be spiritually meaningful.
3. To make the bride and the groom happy on their wedding day: There is a mitzvah to bring joy to the bride and groom on their wedding day. In many cases, people also make an effort to support the couple and create a very joyful atmosphere at the celebration. For example: Sometimes, there are couples who don’t have many guests, or many of the invited guests don’t show up. In such cases, people often post on social media about a wedding where the hall is nearly empty and invite the public to come. There is always a strong response, and within a short time, hundreds of people arrive to celebrate and make the bride and groom happy.
4. Shema Yisrael: Shema Yisrael is one of the most central and important prayers in Judaism. It expresses belief in the oneness of God and is considered a fundamental statement of Jewish faith, and also said in important moments of life, especially in times of danger or joy, as a way of expressing trust and spiritual connection.
5. Passover: Passover Seder is the main evening of the Jewish holiday of Passover, where families gather to tell the story of the Exodus from Egypt. They read the Haggadah, eat symbolic foods like matzah and bitter herbs, and celebrate freedom through rituals, questions, and family traditions.
Free Palestine
LMAO
Palestine is a Roman colonial name of Judea kingdom, given by the Romans in the year 135 ad as a punishment. The name “Palestine” was inspired by a Greek tribe “The Philistines” who were the Israelites (including Jews) greatest enemies in the biblical era (The colonial Roman full name was Syria - Palestine). The Romans wanted to punish the Jews for uprising against their colonialism by renaming the Jews homeland “Judea” after one of their greatest enemies back then “The philistines”. Before 1948, there was no such a thing an independent Palestinian state and ever since the Romans till 1948 the land of Israel was occupied and colonized by a different nation.
The Arabs occupied and colonized the levant during the Arabian conquest and colonized Judea between the years 639-1099 ad (the 7th century). Many Arabs from Arabian Peninsula immigrated to the levant and north africa. Whatsoever called today’s palestinisn are decedents of Arab colonizers of the land of Israel from the 7th century. They called it “El sham” which means the Levant. The Palestinians adopted this identity in the 60’s. The PLO was founded in 1964 by the Arab nations near by (which is absurd that other Arab nations are the-ones who created this new identity “Palestinians” in the 60’s), and was based on Patach, an organisation founded by an Egyptians man in 1959, Yasser Arafat, who was born and raised in Egypt. Btw, Yasar Arafat acknowledged the state of Israel in 1993. Oh, The Palestinians adopted their current flag in 1964 and copied it btw from the Ba’ath party. The flag originally belonged to a Syrian party and was also the flag of Arab rebels during the ottoman era who fought the ottomans (but back then they also included a cross and islamic symbol). During the British Mandate, who also called officially the region as “the land of Israel, the Jews identified as the Jews of Palestine while the Arabs didn’t want anything to do w/ this latin name and didn’t identity as ones. The Jews, to compare to the Arabs, were socially very active during the Brits role. The Jews established the palestinian football team (Maccabi), Palestine post and the Palestinian Philharmonic Orchestra. The Jews also joined the British military and fought in WW2 helping the UK. As you can see, saying “Free palestine” is denying this important historical facts that erases the Jews connection to the land of Israel and basically leads to illegitimacy of the Jews to live in their homeland Judea, the land of Israel. This is why when Jews call to free palestine they are considered Kapos since they call for the distraction of Israel and the deportation of Israelis, especially Jews from Judea, even though the Jews are the natives and palestine never existed as an Arab independent entity (not as a kingdom, nor as a state).
Ps: In 1947 the UN raised the 2 states solution - a JEWISH state and an ARAB (not a palestinian) state which is basically Jordan. -30% was supposed to be the Jewish state and 73% (which was Jordan) was supposed to the the Arab state. Btw, Jordan was created by the UK as well. The Jews agreed but the Arabs didn’t. The Arab leaders of the nations bear by told the Arabs who lived in the land if Israel to leave, so when they won they would return (since they, the Arabs, declared a war). The Arabs lost, Israel won and the Arabs who remained and lived within the Israeli borders received an Israeli citizenship and enjoy human rights as the Jews.
Shout out to the that antisemite who dmed me a curse and blocked me right away 😂 the truth hurts her sooo bad i see.
