It’s been a really long time!

I’ve been busy with illness and work. Now that I’m finally ready, I’m resuming my creative work. I’m already missing BLOSC so much I can’t stand it!

I mainly draw illustrations and comics featuring the pairings and characters shown in the image. I think Buzz from BLOSC is the cutest in the whole universe. I get the most excited when I’m drawing my favorite top male characters!

As for the bottom, it’s the hot Warp. His personality and role are just so perfectly balanced—he’s truly the best! My biggest worry lately is that I might get scolded by Zurg sama fans. Please believe me—I’m a fan of Zurg sama too! I was totally hyped up during that scene in TOY5!!!

I’m a Japanese person who’s seriously terrible at English. I mainly rely on and trust the translations from Deepl senpai and Google senpai. Sorry if my writing comes out all jumbled and weird!

I genuinely think Mouthwashing fandom is a good example on how real life misogyny is very wired on people brains and influenced how they engage with fictional misogyny.

You have a story about a woman being assaulted and telling a man she trusted but being dismissed because he is friends with the attacker, and people fixate on shipping her with either of those men.

You have a story about how men that downplay their male friends violence, assume neutrality is the safer option, unintentionally help create an environment that's unsafe to vulnerable people, at a risk becoming a victim themselves. And people make it about toxic yaoi.

You have a character kill herself because she didn't want birth the child of her abuser. And people make AUs where she happily keep the baby.

Misogyny isn't just "I hate women", it's also downplaying their trauma, defending those who caused it, and reducing them to mothers or wives against their wishes under this idea of what womanhood is about.

I don't think we can separate fandom misogyny from it's real world influence, not yet.

Somehow my "Barry has a traumatic brain injury" fic has turned into Simon having abandonment issues. WIP Fic snippet below the cut.

He got separated and the next time he saw them, Barry was blood-soaked and shaking. He forgot things more often after.

When they returned to Dad, he doesn’t think they knew he could hear them. The whispered arguments, the accusations. How most of the blood was from Barry and not whatever it was mum and Barry hunted. The concern for Barry in Dad’s voice overriding the pride while he could only hear pride for Barry and disappointment for him in mum’s voice.

Dad insisted on getting treatment for Barry and Simon tries to forget the way mum insisted it’d have been better for Barry to have died honourably the night before she left them.

He tries to forget that she never mentioned him.

Sometimes he thinks mum purposely left him behind; believing he was too much like Dad to be useful. Simon pretended not to realize the insult. Just like he will pretend he didn’t feel some relief when she left.

Like he pretends that he didn’t wake up on his eleventh birthday and realized they were banned (technically it was only Dad but technically meant nothing when Dad was the only one that wanted him and Barry) from home.

This is an idea I just came up with, I hope you like it ✨✨

In my personal opinion, Lawrence actually used Buzz as a form of spiritual solace for his spiritual pursuits over the years. Imagine, he was alone on a spaceship filled with aliens, without his own kind, without social interaction, and even with star Command having labeled him a traitor.

Buzz was the only person who could possibly understand him, understand his obsession with the future, and understand his loneliness over the years. I don't think his mental state when he saw his son again was normal. :/
