I found out the hard way by using it for fun (I’m not even that big of an abbot fan i was just curious) thinking it was like those Give Yourself Goosebumps where you’d go to a certain page but instead it’d show a new, pre-written option. Instead, i was met with what was clearly an ai generated version of what i had in mind. So i clicked off and gave it the benefit of the doubt and looked it up, hoping it was just maybe the author’s style—it wasn’t. It’s definitely ai🫩

Because they don’t? The ship doesn’t even have 300 fics on ao3, that’s INSANELY low in this fandom. The fics don’t do numbers either and are all about the same thing.

You’re confusing the general public being into a fun silly karaoke scene with people actually shipping them, like they do garsantos, barantos, crashtos etc

one glance at twitter also tells me that the only account dedicated to ”mentos” stopped posting two months ago. all mentos shippers are multi shippers and move on in the off season, unlike kingdons, hucklerobbies, mohabbots, garsantos shippers, mcvadi shippers etc.

This is such a dumb argument honestly.

The ONLY F/F ship that has a good amount of fics (and even that one is loooow compared to a lot of others) is garsantos and is also the only sort of canon F/F ship in the show ("sort of" because they're not actually together and kinda broke up).

Mentos has less than 300 fics, yes, but so does crashtos and barsantos has barely broken 400, not to mention a lot of these fics (for ALL these ships) are side ships in a hucklerobby fic. You can argue that it's not that popular, but that's because all the fandom energy is taken up by shipping men with other people (usually other men). There are NO F/F ships that are actually that popular.

when you spent all morning trying to talk to your coworker (who has the same job title as you) about how to make sure that your workplace has a smooth transition from his control to yours, but he kept blowing you off and didn't want to hear about any of the idea that you had and wanted to run by him, and every time you tried to have a serious conversation with you he would say he was just trying to get through the day so he could leave on his three month sabbatical, and now, after ignoring every single attempt you made to make sure that you could run your workplace smoothly without him, he's telling you he doesn't think that the workplace will survive without him (he just berrated one of his female employees for being stressed) even though you just saved a child with a procedure he had never even heard of, much less knew how to perform
