I enjoy simple things like have a walk w me. Talk w me for hours.

I was riding my motorcycle and the truck in front of me dropped a box. I dodged it, but saw that there was a bunch of jewelry in it. Couldn't fit the box in my bike bags, but I stuffed all the jewelry in there and in my pockets and caught up to the truck. The first 2 times I tried to stop him, he thought I was road raging until he saw the dangling necklaces. We pulled into Burger King and this guy breaks down. Turns out his grandma just passed and he had just cleaned her house out - some of the jewelry was from post-war Germany. He said "I'm so glad we still got people like you" but I just cannot fathom stealing someone's shit like that. Even when I was poor as shit, I didn't steal because I knew how it felt to be on the receiving end.

Tried making friends on Bumble BFF and every man I match with either can't hold a conversation to save his life or said some weird shit about women or gay people. I suppose my most visible hobbies don't exactly scream my personality, but damn......are there no lefty nerds who like motorcycles and also respect women and gay people??

#I'm tall and built and have a motorcycle with combat veteran license plates (just to keep the cops off my ass)#So I attract a lot of dudebros because they think I also subtly hate women and gay people #Then one of us says something that reveals the Tumblr in me #And my heart sinks because I know it means the search continues #And a lot of the good men I meet are married with kids so it's impractical for them to have a friend like me #Respecting women and gay people and just not being hateful or ignorant in general is a non-negotiable bare minimum for everyone in my life
