💀💀💀💀💀
can you imagine how f***ing relieved the french must have been when we reached the year 2000?
they went from having to say “mille neuf cents quatre-vingt-dix-neuf” to just having to say “deux mille” to say the year
I personally avoid talking about anything that happened before 2000 for that very reason…
HOW THE FUCK DID IT GOT THERE
The mom is so pissed
The mom is like I told yo stupid ass not to go over there but look what your stupid ass did
poor lil wobbly legs wanted to be a flower
how the frick are those noises even real
i found the original facebook post, here are some facts:
the baby alpaca was only a week old
this is from a farm in wisconsin
what happened is: she was taking a dust bath and fell into a badger hole
what caught the farmer’s attention was the entire herd of alpacas surrounding the hole, which is about a mile out in the field
the poor girl was in the hole for hours and was entirely underground when they found her
people apparently use “city slicker” as an insult unironically, as evidenced by the comment section
5 years too late bitch

>> how to take lecture notes, and how to keep them pretty.
the most difficult thing in college, especially in liberal arts, is the amount of lecture notes i have to take! of the 8 classes i have this semester, 6 are lectures from the start to the end of class, and i promise you that my hand will always be sore by the end of the day.

10 academic things i learned in uni (so far).
i recently saw this post and was inspired to make my own. i’ve finished two years of university so far and this list is compiled of 10 academic things i wish i knew sooner:
if a class has participation, try your hardest to get a high mark in that portion - even if it’s only worth 10%. in the end, it’ll help your mark.
never say you will study for a certain # of hours straight. take account for breaks and moments of procrastination.
take at least one day to just START your assignments - read over the requirements and make a brief outline/notes.
studying for midterms/finals are so much easier if you just do the textbook readings throughout the semester and make notes. by the final, you’ll be so grateful.
try to figure out as soon as possible where you study best - is it at school or home/residence? i personally study best at home.
profs are not as scary as you think they are.
sometimes friends are not always the best people to study with.
do all the practice exam questions profs provide. most of the time, you’ll find that the actual exam questions are the exact same or very similar.
don’t take classes that other people say are ‘easy’ mark boosters. take classes that you are interested in! more interest usually means higher marks.
always strive to improve, whether it’s by 1% or 10%.
15 Things No One Tells You About College
1. Be prepared to walk!
2. 8:00 am classes aren’t always a terrible idea.
3. Not everyday is the best time of your life like the movies make it out to seem.
4. Gap time a.k.a. time between your classes are a thing you’ll love and hate.
5. You won’t always make friends with people right away including professors.
6. Not everyone you meet is meant to stay in your life.
7. Everyone feels a little lost and confused at times.
8. Research papers are a breeze if you know how to research.
9. Don’t feel like you have to take every opportunity that comes your way.
10. At some point you’ll feel like you might be falling behind your friends or classmate. Maybe they got an internship you wanted. Just know your time will come as well. Be patient and keep trying.
11. It is okay to want to remain anonymous in certain classes.
12. Going to office hours is helpful but it isn’t the end of the world if you don’t go.
13. There is something special about being on campus when it’s nearly empty.
14. Most campuses have resources for almost everything just keep looking.
15. It is okay to graduate and still not know what to do or where to go.
