Imagine finding out you have 90 minutes to tie up a love story that's developed over thousands of years. You create something beautifully in character and completely on point for the plot. You pay homage to the original writer's legacy in a fitting and poetic way and create an ending that not only shows the depth of two people's love for each other but the wider love they have for the thing that brought them together in the first place.

And then you go online to find the loudest outcry is that everyone hates it and "THEY DIDN'T EVEN KISS!"

I feel sorry for people who didn't get anything out of that stunning finale.

As much as i love my parents (this is a scenario where i do), they DO NOT get the concept of mental health or IB. Yes, my meds are kicking in; yes, i feel slightly better; no, this isnt a sign that i should spend 8 hours after school catching up with my late deadlines - theyre not even late! My school specifically MOVED my deadlines so that i DIDNT have to sit 8 hours after school. They moved my deadlines so that i could catch up with my life after being basically dead in my mind for the last 5 months straight. No, i cant write an IA in one weekend, i cant write half of my EE on my lunch break, and im sorry i didnt do much last four days, ive been busy mustering up the energy to make myself something to eat because i havent eaten a substantial meal since halloween.

My mum praises me "oh you lost so much weight, youre so beautiful now!" WHY DO YOU THINK I LOST SO MUCH WEIGHT: BECAUSE I WAS ON A DIET OR BECAUSE I WAS TOO TIRED TO EVEN GO THE 140 METRES TO THE NEAREST SHOP TO BUY MYSELF SOMETHING?

Im doing things slowly, too slowly for them. Im late with two of my IAs and my TOK essay. Im in shambles with my EE because apparently i took on a topic that is too difficult. But im on time with my third IA and i keep up great grades. They expect me to work on my third IA WHILE writing EE WHILE writing one of the late IAs WHILE writing the TOK essay WHILE keeping up the grades.

My school gave me the extra deadlines so that by the end of April i would be at school, writing my first exams with the rest of my year, and not in the hospital or 7 feet under.

My parents think that the extra deadlines are so that i can invent time-travelling and turn in the late works on time.

There are many things IB MYP and DP gave me: critical thinking, openness to the world, better English skills (still in the works), friends, severe mental health issues, and many more.

However, I've been in this program for 4 years now and the one thing I still don't have is time management. The base of the IB program. The tenet of each IB student. The skill that should have been nurtured for the last 4 years of my life.

I know it's my fault for the most part, but God help me if I was supposed to develop time management without my parents' support and with a joke of the teachers' support. I'm good, but I'm not THAT good.
