Our partners are bringing Topp Dogg over to Europe and asked us, whether we also wants to bring them over to the Netherlands or not. So we want to ask you. Do you want to see Topp Dogg? The date they gave us is Saturday March 26th 2016 and will be held in Rotterdam (not yet sure which venue). It's a showcase, so they are singing a few songs and have some interactions with fans, like games, Q&A's and so on. The normal ticket price is set on 40 euro, but there will be special Meet and Greet tickets available. If this event reaches 500 people who wants to go, we will let our partners know, that we are also interested to join them. (That is the number we can meet a break even.). Otherwise we have no choice and pass on this one. We really hope we can bring you guys another K-pop group to the Netherlands, but it all depends on you guys. ^^ *Note: I need to give my partners an answer this coming Thursday. After Thursday we will delete this form.*

do you all not understand how bad another tour would be for topp dogg? they don’t even have 90 fans in korea, they need to focus on their promotions there to gain a bigger fanbase.

don’t support these kind of things, especially if you’re not actually going to attend the showcase?? what’s the point? you’re faking the existence of people. what’s nice about them performing for 20 people??? please think about how badly another tour would affect topp dogg and their korean fanbase.

Hold up here. Do you know how many fans came to the concerts in Europe and USA and how many people are getting into them all across the world?  Most people of the european fanbases are not aware of this happening. The person who is in charge of this event in order to SEE IF IT IS POSSIBLE is asking people to make it noticed to other fans. I asked around about it too. We get TWO Days to get as many fans together who are interested. I don’t see why it is bad to try to get together as much as we can.  (I sure get your point, people will put them selves on ‘Interested’ while they live on the other side of the world) But the people of the event are well aware of that too!  With that said, Topp Dogg does promote in Korea as well. Can we help it that people here prefer them more? No. Even when they promote in Korea you can see many foreigners attending fan signing's. We support them as hard and try to get them noticed as much as we can. In Korea, from what I hear/know from friends who I have in korea as well, they look down to them because they get compared with EXO and they get compared with what happened with Block B. How much we all want to get them better known and everything it is just difficult. Most people in korea look down to them. And yes it is sad. But from what I heard their previous tour in Europe was a great. I emailed hunus entertainment for shipping a package before and ended up talking to one of the staffmembers who claimed the boys loved europe and will return soon. Maybe this might be a group that aims to break through in Europe? Who knows? Maybe Hunus reaches out to other organizations in Europe?   From the weeks the boys returned back to korea after the tour there where whispers about another one. I don’t think that will happen if it really went as bad as “20″ people private concert.

Thoughts, frustrations, yep

Since I felt bad for a lot of fans who were upset about the MWAVE Toppdogg fan meet - the beat. I decided to send a message to Mwave, explaining how we felt and all. All I get is quite mean / stingy and careless feedback of the fans. I’m trying to make them feel loved in so many ways. I tried to organize fanprojects, try to get messages to the boys and try to get them to read stuff. 

But if you tell me off on ‘they don’t care about the top buyers’ ‘if they cared they’d read the messages”. It hurts me. I am trying here to make changes, okay they might fail but is it that hard to stand together? 

I’m actually really hurt at this point.  And on top of that I’m sort of getting sick on being in this fandom too since I am trying to do something and people are just giving me a cold shoulder.

This is actually true. Many Topp Klass need to pull their weight and not be too laid back. Remember every little projects that other TK organise is for the sake of helping and benefiting topp dogg not ourselves. Those who complain on about how TD are so underrated should really try to do something about it not just sit there and wait for a miracle to happen. It never works like that.

I know this is an old post, but I feel this topic will be brought up again at anytime. So it’s important to say this.

While I’m not that active in a lot of the Kpop fandoms, The Topp Dogg fandom is the only fandom that I’m somewhat involved in it.  I do think that fans need to realize if they want Topp Dogg to survive; they need to be more vocal.  Topp Dogg will not survive if the fandom don’t work together on supporting top Dogg. We should just look at other fandoms for example on how they support to their groups. They do amazing fan projects and organize streaming days ( even if their groups don’t win). I feel the ToppKlass can do that too if the fandom wants Topp Dogg to succeed. Topp Dogg can only go far as the fandom support them. If the fans brittle other fans for trying to help, then how can we expect for Topp Dogg to succeed like this? We should be grateful that the boys spoil us so much.

I do realize they are underrated; but the underrated talk is getting repetitive since it can easily apply to many groups in TD’s situation. Talking about how underrated they are will not help them win music shows ( if they ever get back on music stations again.). It will not bring new fans or raise their album sales. While I can understand people support Topp Dogg in many different ways whether it may be quietly or loudly. Instead of complaining about how underrated they are; do something.  

Whether it may be buying their album, streaming, making a reaction video, or voting for them. I don’t care if the impact is big or small. Every small action counts. I’m not going to tell every fan how they should support TD since people have different ways going about it. It doesn’t make them less of a ToppKlass if they supported them in a different way. Any way that brings Topp Dogg closer to success; that what counts.

Yeah, I was just hurt at that point since I always try to include many fans (as many as I can get together) to do a fan project, to get messages to them as support and trying to make the boys feel loved. At that point, when I wrote that before, I got nasty comments of other fans because I wrote to mwave about how fans felt. I told a few fans it might be effective if more people wrote to them, since what can one person tell a big thing like Mwave right? But at that point, everyone seem careless. I got comments in return that made me feel like I am an idiot, too much of a dreamer and I should “move on”.

That’s what hurt me. I tried to do something for the other fans and the boys and I just got a big slap in my face. I’m really passionate about the things I love to do, I adore to make people smile since that makes me feel better. Topp Dogg helped me through a lot and I want to show a little bit of thank back to them by trying to get messages to them. 

I’m just. I don’t know. I feel a bit beaten down by other fans by their reaction.  Sorry if I made people worry that anything was up with the boys themselves. I needed a break off tumblr for a bit ^^

Fans got upset because Mwave made it all rushed and Topp Dogg read a very few-few messages, maybe 3 or 4. It was sad to see. The games were fun but I’d prefer it too if they actually spend more time with the messages to interact with the fans. 

A few people told me it’s the new way of Mwave doing the fansignings, but if you were like me and the other people we were clueless. So it was a bit dissappointing.

Who was your rant about? Topp dogg? I completely agree. I saw a post a little bit ago, the person claiming hansol and bjoo weren't really friends and it upset me for days but I realized if they knew them they probably wouldn't share that so easily.

Honestly, many fandoms these days.It’s sad to see how people are dragging some members through the mud or people from the same cast. Ofcourse I don’t know what’s been said fully but I ranted a bit over how people talk about their favorites as if they are god.As much as I love Zico from Block B I can honestly say he said things in the past I surely do not agree with and cannot support some of his sayings. I will support him always, nothings wrong with that, but biasses are just humans too; They make mistakes and won’t get along with everyone in the world because thats impossible. It happens in Topp Dogg, Block B, Seventeen, The walking dead, Hannibal, sherlock, Sons of anarchy and so on and so on. You can’t like everyone you know. People see it as a drama but its just humans being humans.

A bit ranty? yas.

I’m laughing so hard right now. Some Kpop fans are really just living in a fantasy bubble I swear. Some fans need to get their stuff together. There’s many types of being a fan. Not all are bad I know I know. But I am ranting right now and this is basically the spot where I enjoy ranting. A friend of mine and me were talking and she ended up telling some stories about a few people she vaguely know

I am really not okay with the kind of fans that believe themselves when they have connections / know members personally. The kind that believes themselves and try to drag people with them. It’s fun to fantasize about them – we all do honestly. But why lie to people? Why build up a fake story about members disliking a person more? ‘a friend of mine who works there and said that this person said.’ Bullshit. If I’m telling you my friend who met a friend on the toilet saw a unicorn shaped poop you’re expecting me to believe such things? Chinese whisper my friend. Each time a story passes another person there’s one detail dropping or changing. In the end the word Love can turn into hate.

Okay, some stories can be perfectly legit. It is possible people have connection and by all good means, go you. But why do you need other fans, probably strangers to you, “secrets”? I remember when I met an acttrice I fancy a lot. She asked me to come backstage, me and her talker now and then. She KINDLY asked me not to spill this around as if I’m pouring maple syrup on pancakes. I respected that since SHE IS MY IDOL. People rarely know about this since I don’t want to hurt other people’s feelings in the first place.

Second, IF you know someone so well or a member. Why are you crying over a polaroid picture you want to win? I mean, connections, couldn’t you ask for it ? But hey, that’s probably me overthinking things right?

No, what I am trying to say here is to be kind for each other. Why be venom spitting on each other and selfish when you can make each other smile and happy? Ugh it’s so sad these days, humanity is failing day by day. Even in a small group of people who like the same thing they end up being horrible. People seem to enjoy power – admiration and hurting others more than being kind and making people’s day by making them smile. But nope nope nope.

Why am I writing this: It’s sad. I don’t like it when people make my friends upset. In this case they pained my friends bias into a dark light claiming he’s not loved by other members because ‘her favorite’ is more loved and accepted by everyone, staff included. I know my friend might say she doesn’t care about such things. But deeply inside her she does. I know her.
