technically, Yugi has most of the genes from his grandfather, so father must simply have missing parts of Yugi's appearance or such parts of his appearance that do not contradict with Yugi’s appearance.  some silly sketches with yugi's father.  he is not serious, but very kind.  loves music and cool stuff.

Okay but what’s his name? Are we following the game theme? (Suguroku is the name of a game, Yugi means game)

Mahjong Mutou? 

Uno Mutou? 

Geemu Mutou? (the romaji for how the Japanese say game for anyone wondering.)

ahaha no. this line does not make sense because the father is not a blood relative with Sugoroku and has nothing to do with games.

I think it's just between grandfather and grandson. two nerds and normal mom and dad. but if we want to continue the banal line of names from yugio, then his name can be somehow connected with the music ahaha

he took their last name because

1) I see him as a fairly free person who does not have stupid ideas in his head regarding masculinity. "Your last name? why not."

2) but I also have a clownish thought that Sugoroku sincerely believes that they have a BIG family play store business™️ here and therefore “you can’t take members of this family, you can only become part of this family, punk(you know like mafia)”

I seriously needed to cheer myself up, so I asked @masaya90 to draw this cute thing. (Look at the kitty face!!)

In my version Akhnamkanon prepared Atem for being the Pharaoh by letting him lead many audiences and conferences and such. It was really stressful to Atem in the beginning and he wished he could have Taia with him but she’s too wild for that. So Akhnamnkanon got Atem this little supporter and Atem couldn’t have been happier. This was Akhnamkanon’s last gift for Atem before he died.

Yes, that’s baby Amerys from this commission.
