the only one in charge of my happiness is ME
Sometimes when you are in a storm, the only way to get out is through it.
Trust your instincts and do what you can. My need for control is an illusion. I can’t control everything but I can do only the things I know to be good and true.
focus on yourself and the good things will come after
sometimes dreams feel more real than reality
the only person i need to love is myself
its scary how easily i hopelessly, desperately fall for somebody.
It’s not how you start but how you finish.
learn to forgive yourself
Life isn’t easy nor is it fair... but it is damn beautiful and we’re here to make something out of it
Back in Wa and...

Heaven and Hell are on earth.
While someone somewhere is enjoying all the luxuries the world has to offer, in another land, a person has lost everything. I believe a lot of it has to do with perception and the situation.
It’s best stated through the Taoist story of the old farmer. If you haven’t read it yet, here is how it goes:
“There is a Taoist story of an old farmer who had worked his crops for many years. One day his horse ran away. Upon hearing the news, his neighbors came to visit. "Such bad luck," they said sympathetically. "May be," the farmer replied.
The next morning the horse returned, bringing with it three other wild horses. "How wonderful," the neighbors exclaimed. "May be," replied the old man.
The following day, his son tried to ride one of the untamed horses, was thrown, and broke his leg. The neighbors again came to offer their sympathy on his misfortune. "May be," answered the farmer.
The day after, military officials came to the village to draft young men into the army. Seeing that the son's leg was broken, they passed him by. The neighbors congratulated the farmer on how well things had turned out. "May be," said the farmer.”
Life is all about how you perceive it. If you think something is terrible, you are right. If you think something is a blessing then you would also be right.
But at last, it’s easy said then done. It is hard to shift out of fixed paradigms. But I think it’s worth the endeavor.

Yesterday I had presidential steak and somehow got the waitress’s number.
if you hang onto idealism for too long,
you lose focus and delude yourself of what is real!
what ive learned the last few days
sometimes pain is necessary for someone who refuses to see the truth.
ive been running, running away, i’m trying but not trying hard enough. i’m still a complainer. i’m hanging onto the past. not quite letting go.
i know i can do better.
also anxiety is best managed through the breath, release of tension and action.\
next steps are quite clear.
life is not a passive activity. it’s meant to be experienced.
regrets/false comfort are a slow poison,
working hard, staying true to yourself is the best way to live.
kind of cheesy, but i wish the world was what i thought it was while growing and playing pokemon games..
the world is a lot darker than i thought and i was never taught how to deal with it
