So whatâs next? You heal. You grow. And you help others.
I truly wish this song was featured on the #BlackPanther soundtrack!! Specially the scene after T'Challa wakes from death. Look at that video and the Afrofuturism vibes, tell me if I'm wrong!!!

I love you, really.
Iâm in love with being anonymous. The freedom to be unknown. To be anyone.
Hard to sit here and be close to you, and not kiss you.
F. Scott Fitzgerald, Tender Is The Night (via wordsnquotes)
My heartbeat starts growing, My blood stops flowing, Your presence is clear, It turns my love for you into fear. Â The wind stops itâs wicked singing, The sun stops itâs strong stinging, Your magnificent scent, Strong enough to make a straight man bent. Â You are heading right towards me, Each step sounds like a death-bellâs chiming I look for your face but I see, Nothing but small rays of blonde light shining. Â I can almost tell you what I feel for you, Ah, no, the school bell rings, You leave me stuck with all my feelings. Tomorrow, âcause today theres nothing left to do.

There was a time in Ghana when, when a young man from the city wanted a wife, he will go to his village. The assumption was that village girls were innocent, hard working and often virgins. Those of us who grew up in the villages knew better.
The writings on taxis and lorries often capture mainly the thoughts of disappointed men on women. Some of the most ridiculous are: âFear Woman and Grow Oldâ, âWoman Is Not A Pillowâ, âYour Wife Is The One In Your Bedâ, âOne Man No Chopâ, âDonât Mind Your Wifeâ and my all time favourite âSexual Traps, Few Escapeâ.

other people succeeding and achieving things (school, jobs, relationships, etc.) before you do, does not make you a failure. it doesnât make you bad at these things. it just means some things are going to take a little more time for you than it will for other people. you have time. there are no rules or deadlines by which you have to achieve and experience things. thereâs too much pressure to have all these things done by your early to mid twenties but you have your whole life to figure yourself out and do what you want. you are doing your best and thatâs what matters. iâm proud of you and you are going to be okay.
Your children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Lifeâs longing for itself. They come through you but not from you, And though they are with you, they belong not to you. You may give them your love but not your thoughts, For they have their own thoughts. You may house their bodies but not their souls, For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams. You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you. For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.
Kahlil Gibran, The Prophet (via themindmovement)
Take a shower, wash off the day. Drink a glass of water. Make the room dark. Lie down and close your eyes. Notice the silence. Notice your heart. Still beating. Still fighting. You made it, after all. You made it, another day. And you can make it one more. Youâre doing just fine.
Charlotte Eriksson (via lightheartedsuggestion)
I know now that we never get over great losses; we absorb them, and they carve us into different, often kinder, creatures.
Gail Caldwell, Letâs Take the Long Way Home: A Memoir of Friendship (via lightheartedsuggestion)
Scared is what youâre feeling. Brave is what youâre doing.
Emma Donoghue (via quotemadness)
Sometimes you fail, and sometimes it is embarrassing and painful and hard and difficult. But it does not mean that you cannot succeed again and triumph in beautiful, wonderful ways. Just because it did not work out this time doesnât mean it wonât work out later - sometimes in ways you never could have even imagined. Working towards your dreams is still worth it. I promise.Â
