Rest in peace to our sweet, sweet chow chow Chauncy aka Toot Toot aka Rootie Toot! She died today at the ripe old age of 12. Toot Toot has been a part of our family since she was 6 weeks old! Our whole family loved her to pieces but my Dad spoiled her absolutely rotten! He taught me as a youngin' that animals should be treated with love & compassion. They do not deserve to be abused or treated unkindly. Dad has always said that nothing & no one is more loyal in this whole world than your dog. He would say they don't care if you have $1 in your pocket. If you're laid out in the street a dog will guard over your body as if you had a million dollars in your pocket! Our sweet Toot Toot was just like that! She loved children too. People would bring their children over & Toot Toot would play & run with them for hours! She always put a smile on my face & made me feel better after a rough day. May Toot Toot have plenty of squirrels & wild rabbits to chase in heaven.
