Just remembered the scene in ACOMAF where the shadows touch Feyre's shoulders and cheeks in comfort when Azriel carries her to the human realm for the first time since she turned fae. Cannot wait to see how the shadows treat his one true love and mate, who is also the one person they are already canonically obsessed with. I need those shadows to be the amorphous equivalent of the beloved pet trope

Surprisingly, the first promo for ACOTAR 6 from Bloomsbury was about the Valkyries, something Gwyn introduced to the story, and she was the first to cut the ribbon. So, I hate to break it to you, but the only thing forgotten here was Elriel, since there was absolutely nothing about them ๐คฃ
Even Bloomsbury got heavily criticized by SJM on that podcast ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ. Itโs funny youโre complaining about Galerarecord commenting on Elain and Tamlin being together, considering you ship Elain with Azriel, who literally admitted he hadn't thought about going beyond just jerking off to her.

Ewriels are still thinking about Az and Elain's non existent chemistry..I would've shipped them if they had chemistry, tension or banter because we know Sarah loves Banter and equality between her couples. But we know Az and elain have no chemistry and nothing Except those "charged looks" which didn't give endgame energy at all.
There's no chemistry or development. According to the fans themselves, they've loved each other and been canon since the second book, Azriel laid eyes on Elain and decided he'd kneel at her feet.
What a lovely development! There wasn't a single thought process about a future with her, he constantly belittles her attempts to be more active in the IC, even though Elain herself WANTS to help and says she's not a child to be fought over, not thinking beyond his fantasies and still feeling the spark in his heart for another woman.
And that's because he "loves" Elain, imagine if he hated her then.
The most important thing is if those same ewriel obsessed fans will get in a relationship with a guy who doesn't care about their choices and only lusts after them.
