Hey guys.

I just want to say, I'm sorry. I thought I was going to make it this year, but I can tell at this point in the game, I'm not. I suddenly hate most of my characters and my story. I'm not going to write any more for now, but if I ever get the inspiration, I will try to fix the story. It might just need to be completely redone. I've had these characters for about 4 years now...but I've come up with much better ideas since then and put them off to work on this trainwreck. I'll still keep the ideas circulating, but for the time being, PO is a bust.

I still love Nicole though so you'll probably still be seeing lots of her.

Thing is, I don't think I'll really ever completely give up on PO. I just think that when I do it, I want it to be great. And it isn't yet. So we're just gonna put it in a vat to ferment for a bit.

“I have a plan,” April said, sitting down and stuffing a crème puff in her mouth from the bowl sitting on Elizabeth's table. She had been eating a lot since SPOILER, and Elizabeth wondered if she was gaining any weight or if her high metabolism kept her slim. She didn't appear to be gaining any.

“What's that?” Elizabeth asked, stealing a crème puff for herself.

“We're gonna go to the ISME station,” April explained, “we're gonna get Jeannette, and then we're gonna leave.”

“Wow, great plan,” Elizabeth said, grabbing another puff. Being upset about Eugene had made her clothes a bit tight lately, and she stopped herself from having a third.

“Nh,” Christophe's mustache twitched, and he bowed his head very slightly.

“Jeremy,” Alanna said. “Why doesn't Christophe ever say hi?”

“Cuz he...wants to eat you for dinner!” Jeremy said, making a dinosaur pose and chasing after Alanna, who squeaked and ran off, delighted at the game.

“The cats,” her mother whispered. “They're all hidden in various rooms of the house. A law was passed to kill all pets, but I just couldn't do it, Elizabeth. I filed a report that said they had all eaten rat poison and died.”

Elizabeth heard a muffled meow coming from the next room.

“Mittens scares me the most,” her mom said. “He won't stop making noise.”

“Mom, my ship is leaving soon, and you need to come with us,” Elizabeth said.

“Where are you going?”

“There's a rebellion. I don't know much about it, but it's got to be better than here,” replied Elizabeth. “Do you happen to have a burlap sack?”
