The Holy Trinity has numerous variations of how it's depicted, but one of my favorites is one with roots in 6th-7th century China. This arrangement of rabbits was found on the walls of the Dunhuang Cave, and was a popular motif for a while. With the expansion of the Silk Road, the motif inevitably found popularity throughout the Middle East and the West. This is why you'll find similar iconography on cathedrals all through Europe, like the Paderborn Cathedral in Germany.
All of that to say: I love these rabbits, and thought it was a great subject to practice rendering textures with. A trio of gilded, opalescent rabbits on a wheel of red and green nephrite jade. If you'd like an art print, you can find this and more over on my INPRNT shop (which is currently having a sale)!
Weekend Headshot Commissions
Happy first weekend of October! Because my weekdays are largely eaten up by contract WFH gigs that tend to pay slower than my emergency needs would like, I'm picking up the habit of doing a few spots of weekend sketch commissions like the above samples.
Black and white headshots like these, which means no hands or arms. Just your character (OCs, D&D characters, fanart, or your favorite celebrity) and their cranial accessories. If you're interested, I'll be opening this Google Form on weekends when I'm available to take a few spots at a time since these are usually a pretty quick turn-around (as in I can usually get them done well within a couple of hours, barring any interruptions or delays). More detail below the cut!

This book was so much fun to work on, and the first time I got to oversee nearly the entire creative process—from thumbnails to pencils, inks, colors, and lettering. I learned so much on this book, and am so grateful to have had such an amazing team with @firstsecondbooks <3
Got to revisit some of my childhood Henson favs with this variant cover for BOOM!'s JIM HENSON PRESENTS #3, in stores now!
Another past commission for my gf of their half-elf bard Lazarus (he/him). My most beautiful son~
For the full process and notes on the creation of this (and more sketches and art I don't always share online), check out my Patreon!
Whatever free time I have outside of work is being consumed by OC brainrot, so there's a new early-access sketch pile up on the Patreon!
Early-access sketch pile is now public! Brainrot on display. I'm not over it.

Iron and Sugar: No Going Back
Yesterday was my good friend Kat's birthday, and to celebrate I turned our OCs into a movie poster.
First Patreon post of 2025! (Free for all members, not just paid tiers.) The last thing I drew in 2024 was a study of a man's back in my physical sketchbook and the first thing I drew in 2025 was Dev Patel. (Materials used: HB #2 pencil, Zebra ink pen, a Kuretake brush pen, and Awaii markers in a Strathmore 400 Series sketchbook.)
This sketch and more over on Patreon, as well as a bit of a life update/blog post.
A year of orange, green, and blue apparently!
Notes on painting portraits with saturated color and early access to a new piece up on Patreon! 💫
This post is now available to the public and free members!
Another study session is up on my Patreon for Sketchbook Flippin' and Studio Access members! A collection of portrait studies and notes as I continue to do my homework and exercise my drawing muscles.
