Something everyone knows. Which makes it completely unnecessary when, bright and early (seven-thirty AM to be specific) someone who came knocking finds it important to not only stir up a ruckus in their fistfight with the door at such an unholy hour, but also holler at the top of his (impressively strong) lungs "Jackson! Yo, Percy! Open up!" over and over. From the sound of it, it's Will Solace. "Dude! Up and at 'em! Breakfast is in a half-hour anyway, wake up!"

"solace, i swear to the gods- what do you want?"

Will gives him a wry smile, removing his hand from its midair position. "Good morning to you too, Perce." He checks his clipboard. "Uh. Your updated medical records since you nearly died -- you have gotten checked out since then, right? -- and oh, Mr. D wants us to check you out to make sure you aren't crazy, or, like, really doing poorly in the mental health department. Don't know what that's all about. Probably something to do with the-- everything recently. Or he just wants to mess with us. No clue." He looks up at Percy again. "So basically, you're coming with me."

They begin to walk along through camp in the direction of said infirmary. "I think I can check your medical records from the new database we got, but if not, you can just talk to your primary care physician." He flips to another part of the checklist. "But let's get started on this mental health assessment, huh? Okie-dokey, how many times in the last two weeks have you felt down, depressed or hopeless?"

percy walks beside him, still considerably groggy, and narrows his eyes.

"...i dunno. a lot?"

Look, I don’t know why exactly Mr. D referred you here, but if it was really because he was worried about you, then you didn’t do anything wrong. My job is just to see what supports could help you, so that you can live your best demigod life, just like I’d do if you broke a leg or something. This form is just so I can see what I’m dealing with. But you didn’t do anything wrong, Percy, I swear.”

“I figured I’d capitalize a few things to emphasize the point a little more than when I did it for my, um,” Will hesitates but pushes through. “My boyfriend.”

Don't know what that's all about. Probably something to do with the-- everything recently. Or he just wants to mess with us. No clue." He looks up at Percy again. "So basically, you're coming with me."

"I think I can check your medical records from the new database we got, but if not, you can just talk to your primary care physician." He flips to another part of the checklist. "But let's get started on this mental health assessment, huh? Okie-dokey, how many times in the last two weeks have you felt down, depressed or hopeless?"

percy clears his throat. "but like. why me? did i- i mean. i didn't do anything wrong, right?"

At the prospect, Will looks scandalized. “What? No! I—” He sighs. “I— Sorry. I need to work on my bedside manner. Um. Lemme put this in a doctor way. Look, I don’t know why exactly Mr. D referred you here, but if it was really because he was worried about you, then you didn’t do anything wrong. My job is just to see what supports could help you, so that you can live your best demigod life, just like I’d do if you broke a leg or something. This form is just so I can see what I’m dealing with. But you didn’t do anything wrong, Percy, I swear.”

"uh. yeah, okay. i- i guess often? for your question. i don't know."

Will goes straight to the computer. “Let’s just see if you’re in our system.” He clicks around a little. “Okay, when was your last checkup?”

"like..? uhm, maybe a year ago?"

he shrugs, leaning against the desk.

“And was that before or after your… ah…” Will hesitates. “Your, uh, everything?”

Anyone who isn’t away for the summer.” He snort-laughs. “I can even give you a doctor’s note if you want to sit at their tables for meals, or vice versa. I did that for my— for Nico.”

“I figured I’d capitalize a few things to emphasize the point a little more than when I did it for my, um,” Will hesitates but pushes through. “My boyfriend.”

Which makes it completely unnecessary when, bright and early (seven-thirty AM to be specific) someone who came knocking finds it important to not only stir up a ruckus in their fistfight with the door at such an unholy hour, but also holler at the top of his (impressively strong) lungs "Jackson!
