    Ingrid let a corner of her lip curve upwards at the other woman’s apparent nostalgia. “Out of all his film scores, I think Like Crazy’s provided the most intimate sensitivity. His inspiration on the album is comparably PALPABLE to his other film scores.” Quite the hoity-toity review, but it’s not often that the small population of Darlington provided a more than just adequate outlet for one of her hidden interests. She wouldn’t be surprised if Naomi thought the same.

    She nodded brightly, recognizing the name instantly. “Angus Thorne? He pervades my iPod. I feel quite — honoured.” Shrieky fangirling? Not in her vocabulary.

       Light eyes widen at the knowledge that fell from the lips of the other woman. It was impressive to hear someone else speak a language that so few understood so fluently. It was a sentiment she could only agree with, a vigorous nod suggesting such. “ It was personal -- it felt personal, which is difficult to accomplish in scores for today’s cinema. “

         It’s a sad sort of smile that touched her lips next.  “I’m sure he’d be quite honoured to hear you say that. I know that I’m honoured to hear you say that. It’s been quite a while since I’ve heard it --- he’s been out of the game for a bit, much to my disappointment. I know he misses it --- but he won’t take anything on. “ Perhaps she had overshared, but it was rare that she could find someone who appreciated music ( and understood her father’s music ) like Ingrid seemed to.
