I've started learning about urban engineering and the chemical compositions of things like tarmac and concrete so I can pick up synthetic rocks off the sidewalk and polish them. Fuck all this #aesthetic witchcraft shit I'm exploring the arcane properties of asphalt.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: In the realm of 'witchcraft,' "Crystal" is a marketing label that serves the function of convincing you that rocks you buy from Etsy or in a store are different than rocks you find on the ground.

Yes, "crystal" is a real scientific term. It refers to a mineral with a specific chemical composition arranged into a repeating lattice structure.

However, most "crystals" with supposed magical properties do not meet this definition. Some "crystals" don't even CONTAIN crystals. Obsidian, for instance, is an igneous rock distinguished specifically by the fact that it is 100% crystal-free.

With that out of the way, PLEASE just research rocks in your area and get involved with rock hounds and find resources on geology instead of relying on these stupid scammy witchcraft stores. Rocks are PACKED with qualities. They all have fuckin STATS, my guy. Every rock is very unique and special and fascinating.

You know how in Minecraft there's Stone which is Just Rock? That isn't real. All rocks are different.

Where I live, there is limestone, which often looks like just a regular rock, until you learn about it and you discover that limestone is literally made of the dissolved skeletons of ocean creatures that lived in warm shallow seas millions of years ago.

I wanted to introduce the decks that I used through these quick deck interview spreads, starting with my Welcome To Nightvale deck! It's the deck I had the longest and use the most. Let's go!

The 4 of Swords - An authority figure thats new to the role. Lots of good plans and ideas but not used to having people listen to you yet. Brings change and challenges the status quo.

2. Where do your strengths lie?

3 of Cups - Uniting with friends and family. Particularly good at (platonic) relationship spreads

3. What do you like to do most?

The Sun - Likes helping people get active again and persue their passions. Enjoys spreads about carrer or new projects

.

4. Where do your weaknesses lie?

The Moon - Not very self-reflective and rarely looks past the surface in spreads related to self-reflection

.

5. What do you enjoy the least?

This deck is all about moving forward and it doesn't like telling people to lay back and enjoy what they already have

.

6. How do you want us to work together?

Death -  This wasn't my first tarot deck but it was the first I chose for myself, the first I could work really work with and the first that made me read tarot more regularly and ad such it marked a new beginning in my journey

7. What can I learn from you?

King of Pentacles -  Theres always more to gain and higher to go

Conclusion: Definitely a very energetic deck, thats probably good when you want advice on how to get out of a rut but doesn't really linger on anything deeper or has the time for it

Hi! I did a good thing-bad thing-how to over come it spread foe you for the rest of the year :)

The card for a good thing this year is the Eight of Wands. Its a card all about progress and moving forward. Youre gonna experience new things and grownas a person because of it

The second card shows us a problem you might encountee this year and its the Fool. This ties in to the first card because while making progress is a good thing you lack the neccessary experience in those new situation to watch out for yourself.

The third card is how to counteract that problem and its the Temperance. Dont goninto any extremes, opposites can work together better than you think. Find compromises and youll be fine

Ive turned this into a 3-card spread if you dont mind :) The first card is how its looking right now, the second something thats holding you back and the third something you can do to encourage it

The first card is The World. It symbolizes a detailed and nuanced picture. The situation right now is quite complicated but since the World is also linked to community and so is the role you want Id say its looking positive. You are already integrated and have the necessary connections.

The second card is the Knight of Swords. Its basically a warning to not go into this with blind conviction but listen to the people around you and maybe people outside of the situation if what youre planning is a good idea.

The third card is the Two of Wands. It means that the way will be confusing but the important thing is to keep moving forwards. There might be some obstacles in your way but don't let those stop you. As long as you keep moving youll make progress.

All in all Id say as long as you actively work for it and work with the people around you, its looking good.

Ive bee working on designing a card deck, to be used similarly to a tarot deck but with more of a focus on people and personal development than events, and after a lot of copying layers and assigning cards the first half is here!!

Note: This spread can be pretty symbolic at times. Number 3 might not be a person, per se, but an inner strength or an emotional support. Tarot is less future telling and more a Rorschach test.
