Lexia would grow up in Hawthorne Hall, the youngest of the two. Her and her oldest brother were on pretty good terms for pretty much their entire childhood. Lexia often teasing him and him teasing her in turn. Them just being children. When she was only 10 her mother had grown ill and passed after months of decline in her health. Lexia and her mother had been rather close, her mother having taken great care in the terms of teaching her. So when she had passed she seemed to lack the eagerness she had to learn. However life moved on in House Hawthorne. Lexia would continue her studies with some reluctance and later watch her father remarry to a woman she had grown to hate. She felt her father was replacing her mother. It certainly strained her relationship with her father to some small degree. Often times her older brother Merrick didn’t understand just why she hated Leandra as much as she did.

Of course, to start off, Sauron is a girl dad. He loves his little princess from the moment she's born, and he's so cautious and overprotective, he hardly allows anyone to even go near her in the early years.

Sauron would be the type of dad to bring Celebrían to the forges from an early age. She'd look on in great fascination as her father made pretty shiny jewelry just for her or for her mamma.

He'd sit her on his lap, her head tucked into the crook of his neck, thumb in mouth as she watched him work. He'd hum softly to her, rocking her back and forth on his leg to try and get her to sleep, but when Galadriel comes to take her back for bedtime she begins to cry and cling to her father who she has clearly become incredibly attached to.

As she gets older, she runs around the smithy, causing trouble and touching things she knows she shouldn't. Sauron has to chase her around, he pretends to be annoyed, scolding her soundly, but then she gets that pouty teary eyed look and he just breaks and takes her in his arms again.

There's nothing Sauron wouldn't do for his girls. He calls both of them his greatest weakness. And even though Galadriel goes on to bear him many sons, he insists Celebrían is his true firstborn, his only heir, and would cut off the tongue of any who tried to question it.
