My dream ASOIAF AU is that Ned betrothed Sansa to Theon shortly after the Greyjoy rebellion as a way to have a stronger hold over Balon so when Robert proposed to join their houses Ned agrees having Robb marry Myrcella (she stays in the North and Sansa does too).
When the War of the Five Kings happen, Sansa and Myrcella are in Riverrun with Robb and Theon and Myrcella proposes Robb to ally with Renly (my personal headcanon of Renly and Myrcella being super close).
