Guys this is the dumbest fucking headcanon ever but all I can think about is Trinity bringing over all her fidget toys (she is a tiktok shop victim after every difficult shift don't shame her) and she gives half of them to Andrew and makes him play fidget trading with her and he takes it so seriously it makes her absolutely piss her pants.

Thinking about regressor Andrew "Pope" Cody. Andrew who has trauma-induced regression as a result of years of abuse and neglect, not just at the hands of his childhood caregivers but also from his three years in prison.

Andrew who has undiagnosed and untreated mental illness that scares him more than it scares anyone else. He lashes out with anger when he's triggered. He throws fists because he can't express himself verbally without getting tongue-tied and so frustrated that he can't talk at all. Andrew who hates feeling small and helpless but it's all he feels so much of the time.

Andrew that is permanently regressed to the mental state of a teenager because of all he's been through, and nobody really knows any different unless he regresses further. Moody and unhappy is his normal. Skateboarding silently back and forth on his ramp for hours at a time until he gets coaxed away by someone else.

Andrew that doesn't know the difference between himself and his mother because of how enmeshed they are. He can't have his own opinion without doubting it. He can't feel peace in his own thoughts unless someone else validates them for him. When he's feeling more emotionally unstable or regressed, he finds he can't make almost any decisions without feeling anxious or panicked.

Andrew who hates being called Pope, but he knows voicing his opinion only leads to being mocked.

Autistic regressor Andrew who finds comfort in pacing, tracing his fingers over things over and over again. Runs his fingers against his headboard when he can't sleep and rubs his own chest like Julia used to when they would share a bed and he couldn't sleep. Humming softly to himself because he likes the feeling and the sound, especially if he covers his ears.
