First ever post on this account and its somthing pretty deep for me.

When i was younger i hated being black; all i was ever told of the struggle of being black and the atrocities people like me went through, just for being who we are. Of course over time i learned to take pride in who i am and the accomplishments my people have done, not only for this country but all over the globe.

Its the end of black history month, but that doesn't mean we should stop talking about it! Though recently i feel its even more important we talk about it now more than ever.. especially for other poc, it fuels me with so much rage to see our cousins harassed and living in fear.
