Long time, no post!! I’ve been a little more active on Instagram with my stories and posts, but I can’t forget to include my Tumblr fam!
Lately, I’ve been diving into the world of 3D illustration and I am loving it. The Cinema 4 D family is strong and rolls deep. The work you see above is my experimentation in the software. I had to see Molang and Gudetama’s cute pudginess in 3D form, then I needed GLITTER.
I cannot wait to create more kawaii things with my new 3D tool! <3 <3 Let me know if you like these!
P.S. In other news, I got a job as an illustrator at an agency! I am really excited about it and have my first team meeting today. I will keep you all posted on how things go and any other fun developments in my career.

In other news, I am gearing up for an internship as a Curator at an art gallery! I am pretty excited for it because Curating is something I am very interested in doing. It involves researching artworks, artists and composing a show for the museum. In this internship, I am also going to learn how to operate a gallery - which will be handy just in case I want to open my own gallery in the future!! I’ll start next week. Here’s hoping it’s a fulfilling learning experience!

I am a big fan of tokidoki - I am a collector of their collectible art and I frequently check in to see what new characters / blind boxes they have on their site tokidoki.it. I was inspired (like I was with Donutina) to draw another character from Donutina and Friends’ collection. So here it is!! Her name is Sprinklette and she has a couple other friends that are donut-flowers not featured here. xD

Do you ever have those moments when you feel like you’re not smart enough to figure something out? I feel like that right now. I think most people would preach that “you can do anything” or that “you can push yourself” toward overcoming that obstacle yourself, but I think that makes us dangerously self-sufficient. I am learning to work together with other people in order for us all to accomplish our dreams together. Something I may not be able to figure out, someone else already has - and who knows, I may have a piece of the puzzle that they don’t have. I do believe the sky is the limit for us all, but do we want (or have time) to do it all by ourselves?

Not gonna lie, y’all. This is kind of how I am feeling today, ironically. I made this for the Wacom Stick With It challenge on Instagram - it was supposed to be a combo of my last 3 most recently used emojis (at the bottom of this post).
I am having one of those days where I am feeling like I don’t have much to offer in terms of an art career. Last year, I gave up my job as a Project Manager to study Fine Art and have more time to focus on building up my skills and portfolio. It is great to be able to have the opportunity and the resources to do that, but sometimes I look at my goals and they seem so far off. I think we all have days like today and they are really far and few in-between for me. I know it comes from a place of being hungry to learn and engage more. Alas, this is the journey and I have been enjoying it so far - just a little bump in the road. 💖
