there is no greatness where there is not simplicity, goodness, and truth.

This forgotten balcony is nestled in the heart of Tbilisi's old town, where winding streets are lined with homes featuring traditional carved wooden balconies and soft pastel colors. The colorful leadlight glass, surrounded by lush grape branches, provides a view of the cityscape of terracotta rooftops. On the other side of the balcony are beautifully decorated wooden doors, some of which are slanted due to the balcony's skew. It is remarkable how everything is still holding on despite the balcony's age and wear and tear.Elaborate plasterwork can be spotted on the ceiling, though most of it has crumbled away. Despite the decay, the balcony remains an oasis of beauty and calm.
