The new M&S Website which went live on 18th February is a real insight into great website redesign and content marketing. The move to a new website was fuelled by users disinterest with the old website and what it had to offer. Now Marks and Spencer is offering inspiring content to it’s users from trends and advice to guest posts from journalists with top titles, celebrities and guest editors.
The website redesign will be followed up with social media marketing and email marketing from M&S in an attempt to spark an increased engagement and personalisation with the brand. M&S hope to increase clothing and homeware sales and boost online sales which have already risen 23% in the last quarter according to Marketing Week.
