Last week I finessed my family into attending a local antiques show. there will be chairs! I promised, on many occasions. there will be so many beautiful chairs!  by the time we arrived there was a sum total of two (2) chairs on the scene, both of which were folded on the side as the vendors took down their stalls. maybe there was a moral to this story that we were too obtuse to catch. In the meantime here’s a study of some of the chairs that weren’t present at the show.

Paul McCartney is arrested by the Japanese authorities for smuggling marijuana into the country while touring with Wings. Known as prisoner number 22, McCartney was imprisoned for a total of 10 days until January 25, when he was released without charge and deported to England.
