"You do realise that Simon has a power, right?" Jordan retorted, rolling their eyes in Nathan's direction as they placed their bag upon the table. "But don't worry, asshole. You won't be a loser sidekick. If you carry on, you'll annoy us all to death. That's your power."

Nathan blinked for a moment, both in confusion at their question, and in bewilderment, mind adjusting to a suddenly feminine, attractive Jordan. "Who's Simon?" At the retort, he shrugged, unmoved by it. He had a feeling he wouldn't last long amongst this group anyway, since none of them had a sense of humour. "Well, that works for me. Then I get this place all to myself." Hands clasped behind his head, Nathan eyed Jordan for another moment, eyeing them up. "— Until that happens, how about you and me share a bed? Save some space an' all."

A lit cigarette draped from his mouth, and a near-empty bag of garbage in tow, Nathan stopped to watch the confrontation with great interest. This was right up his alley. She was gorgeous and terrifying and hilarious, but he also couldn't help himself. The suggestion that she might 'lose her shit' was too tempting to ignore. Intentionally flicking the cigarette directly into her garden, Nathan lifted up the bag, gesturing to it as he called out to her. "Sorry, darlin'! I wasn't asked to work private. Community garbage only. You'll have to take it up with the Council, my hands are tied. — Hey, any chance for a smoke? I'm all out."

"Are we serious?" Nathan exclaimed upon Jordan's return, seeing that he was now a she. "I'm the only one in this house who doesn't have a superpower? Well, apart from weird kid over there, he's only special in one kinda way," he gestured in Simon's general direction before collapsing onto the couch with a dramatic sigh. "This really is balls. Whoever made these housing assignments needs a serious mental check. I'm not fit to be some loser sidekick. That's his job." Once again, Nathan pointed over his shoulder to Simon, not meeting the man's eye.
