a confession in E-4
I actually teared up when the friend fleet came in yasen.
The first friend fleet that came to our aid was Nishimura fleet. Most of them are already damaged...
Dunno, maybe the fact that they’re injured and still willing to help is what made me shed a tear.

“No need, Yamashiro!” Yamato shouted. “The escort fleet has more than enough power to fight abyssal-Gambier! Right, Noshiro?”
“All six of us are capable, do not-” Noshiro’s words were cut off by the flagship of Nishimura fleet nearby.
“Well... there is seven of us,” Yamashiro interrupted as her fleet stepped between the escort fleet and the remaining abyssals. “If you can give permission to us so we attack the last Ru-class and deal some damage to the twintail bitch...”
“Right. Noshiro, tell your friends to step back. We wouldn’t want to get roasted by some AP shells and torpedoes from the friendly side,” Yamato ordered.
“Roger tha--” Noshiro nodded, then stopped.
The younger Fusou-class battleship got a severe wound from the enemy.
“Dammit... Yamashiro! I’ve told you!”
“See the Ru-class?” Yamashiro smiled. “If it’s not for me, maybe it’ll finish you inst-”
“Go home, you’re almost dead.”
“Ah... as always,” the battleship grimaced at her own wound on her stomach. “It’s okay, the rule is I’m still alive if I don’t go further. We’ll go back after Shigure’s attack, don’t worry.”
Salvos were exchanged between the friendly fleet and the abyssals. At the end, only Gam... pardon, Escort Water Princess remained. Shigure reported that the enemy ended up moderately damaged in her mercy.
“You’re welcome, Suzuki-Kurita fleet. May you guys be luckier than I am,” Yamashiro saluted, then the rest of the fleet escorted her to safety.
