You know how incredibly expensive this probably will be? No one poor or middle class will be able to afford it, and let’s be real, majority of the people infected with HIV are poor or just not rich enough to afford this “cure”.

HIV and AIDS in general are expensive as fuck, my dad was on 12 different medications and the main one for his HIV was 2k. For a months supply.

Basically, it’s hard having HIV and AIDS and being middle class or lower. But the fact that there’s a potential cure is AMAZING, so no one has to go through what I did. Watching my dad already struggling with his diagnosis, having to figure out how to pay for his medication. Watching my dad’s condition worsen and then having to see him die. He was convinced from the beginning he was going to die, and was awfully depressed from the time he was diagnosed to when he passed. I would have loved to have been able to give him this hope.
