It's nice to be back. Rise and run!
So how was your Sunday workout? Me, I did Jillian Michael's Body Shred Workout from day one again. I know I should have completed this a long time ago. But hey, who says you can't start again? No more excuses!
I'm having red rice and adobo for lunch. What's yours?
After three months of no running, I finally ran 5 km again in one of the biggest running events here in our country yesterday. Super ❤️ this shot with 59-year-old mom who walked her 5 km. Haha! It was hard to force myself to run, but thank God for the determination and physical stamina I was able to finish it. I'm really all sore now but it feels good to be back on running again. Now I need to start preparing for my second 10 km on November 29. No more excuses! So help me, God!
And I'm back... Back to first day of working out after weeks of flu, coughs, and colds.
What have I been doing? Well I'm back to working out. I'm trying this Jillian Michael's Body Shred workout, a 60-day program 30 minutes a day with one day rest a week. And this is my second week that I was able to do it every other day. I know, it's supposed to be one day rest a week only and that's my struggle. I'd rather sleep than wake up early in the morning to workout. Can't workout after work because I'm too tired already by that time so early morning workouts are best for me. I started July 17, 2015 and my first week was hell. I only worked out for two days and rested six days. But this week, I only rested three days. Not bad right? I'm improving when it comes to my commitment to workout. I know I'm getting there. So please bear with my photos for now. How about you? How was your week? Remember, it's never to late to start. So start today, not tomorrow. Not soon but today. No more excuses!
I can do this. My new dream body.
Today, I Forgive Myself
Today, I forgive myself for not being able to achieve my dream/ideal weight for God’s knows how long now.
Today, I forgive myself for letting certain people affect my emotions and make me eat a lot.
Today, I forgive myself for letting other people down and failing them.
Today, I forgive myself for eating chocolates, junk foods, soda whenever I feel sad, lonely, alone, depressed, and stressed.
Today, I forgive myself for not believing myself that I can do this.
Today, I forgive myself for blaming myself whenever I don’t eat well or exercise.
Today, I set another goal and plan to reach my goal.
Today, I will love myself, think only of myself as my source of happiness, and will not depend on anyone to make me happy or feel loved.
Today, I forgive myself and start all over again.
Today, not tomorrow or soon, but today.
Day 95: 41 out of 60-day challenge Because it's weekend, no excuses!
Day 94: 40 out of 60-day challenge I got this Yoga mat from an officemate who covered a multivitamins launch the other day. When he asked everyone who wanted it, I raised my hand and said 'Me!' Here's to more sweat and poses. No more excuses!
Day 93: 39 out of 60-day challenge Got a two day off today for my sit-up and plank challenges. I'm almost done. Thank you, Lord for the inspiration.
Day 92: 38 out of 60-day challenge Got my weekly dose of 5 km run yesterday after a week of hiatus. It's hard to keep motivated. What's left of me are willpower and desire to make it happen. No more excuses!
Day 91: 37 out of 60-day challenge I'm halfway through my sit-up challenge. Whew! Who knew I could make this far. No more excuses!
Day 90: 36 out of 60-day challenge
I’m also doing this workout in addition to my 30-day sit-ups challenge. The only difference is that it has flutter kicks.
Now that’s what I call, motivation. Yes, two more months and 2014 is over. I got to wear that two-piece bikini at least before the year ends.
No more excuses!
Day 89: 35 out of 60-day challenge
It feels good to get back on track. We meet again, sunrise.
Day 88: 34 out of 60-day challenge
It’s been a week since my last run. Hope I could make it up this weekend.
