Woke up at 4 am to watch rwrb and went to sleep afterwards (once the hype was not making it impossible to do so) and even tho now it kinda feels like a dream and I definitely have to rewatch it, I need to say the movie was so so sweet. It was never gonna be a perfect adaptation and it couldn’t have all the lines and scenes we all love, but IT HAD THE HEART OF THE BOOK and it made me smile and giggle like the book did.

The casting was absolutely perfect and many of the scenes already live rent free in my brain forever.

Even tho I will always mourn the loss of Mand’alor Din Djarin and will forever be disappointed that we won’t get to see how that could have played out, we gotta give it to him - the man did what he always wanted, he said fuck off to being the main character and got a house in the middle of nowhere to do nothing with his SON. We can say a lot of things about the episode, but what I absolutely loved is how in his element Din - hate to be the main character - Djarin was on his little side quest to fight droids, while Bo-Katan - I wanna retake Mandalore - Kryze was annoyed about having to deal with that
