[8:53 am] “Jaehyun?” You whispered while gently shaking his shoulder.
“What?” He asked with a raspy morning voice and eyes still closed.
“I’m going for a walk with our daughter and I’m brining y/d/n with me.” You said, not wanting him to panic if he woke up and all of you were gone.
“Wait,” he said and suddenly sat up, stretching his body with a yawn: “I’m coming with you, give me two minutes.”
“You don’t need to, it’s your day off, go back to sleep.” You said and went out to the living room to get ready for your morning walk.
As you were about to head out, Jaehyun came towards you, dressed and a tired smile on his face.
“What?” he asked with a laugh and put on some shoes: “I want to spend my day off with my family.”
“I guess I can’t stop you then,” you grinned and gave him a peck on the lips: “now let’s go.”

[2:03 pm] “We’re back!” Johnny announced when he walked into the dorm with Haechan, but stopped when he saw you and Doyoung sitting at the table, looking concentrated at the puzzle in front of you: “What are you doing?”
“Exactly what it looks like.” Doyoung answered, eyes not leaving the table.
“Laying a puzzle like a married couple?” Haechan asked, making Doyoung glare at him.
“Yes we are,” you said, holding back Doyoung: “and it is actually very difficult and takes a lot of concentration.” He looked confused at the way you were talking, but gave him a wink, letting him know you knew what you were doing.
“It’s only a 1000 pieces, how hard can it be?” Johnny scoffed, looking at the box.
“Ehm, pretty hard! It’s been two hours and we only made the outside.” Doyoung said, making both Johnny and Haechan sit down with a cocky face.
“Seriously, puzzles aren’t that hard.” Haechan said and began looking for matching pieces.
It only took a few minutes before both of them were absorbed in the puzzle, which was your clue to take Doyoung’s hand and sneak away and into his bedroom. You closed the door behind you and let yourself lay down on his bed.
“I was slowly losing my patience over that puzzle,” you said with relief, fortunate that they took the bait: “How many hours should we give them? Three?” You asked with a grin.
“Let them finish it. That way I can have you all to myself for at least four hours.” He said and pulled you onto his lap.
“First piece!” Johnny shouted from the living room, making you both giggle.
“Make that five.”

Singin’, singin’, singin’, singin’!” You sang into the hair brush, passionately as you both ran around the room in excitement.
“Midnight memories! Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh! Anywhere we go, never say no! Just do it, do it, do it, do it!” You both sang as he walked closer to you and put his arm around you.
“You and me and all our friends. I don’t care how much we spend. Baby, this is what the night is for.” He sang as he motioned you to stop singing.
“I know nothing’s making sense.” He sang as he moved closer to you “For tonight let’s just pretend.” He looked into your eyes and searched for your reaction “I don’t wanna stop so give me more.” He said rather than sang, moving closer as he watched your lips.
“Midnight memories. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Baby, you and me.” The music continued as you leaned closer to kiss your best friend. Your lips moved against each other almost perfectly on beat to the melody in the background and that’s when you knew. This was going to be your favorite midnight memory.

when you pulled back his eyes were wide and you furrowed your eyebrows.
“it’s not all gone.” so you kissed him again. this time he put his cup of ice cream down before placing his hand on your cheek, rubbing it softly. you both melted into the kiss for a minute before you pulled away.
“that was all an excuse to kiss me hm?” he said, picking his ice cream up again. you nodded, a faint pink hue appearing on your face.

Your heart aches as you see your Ex! Boyfriend Yuta walk into the restaurant you and a friend were eating at with a pregnant women. It’s been around 10 months since you guys broke up and last seen each other. So, seeing him there made you very emotional especially because you still loved him.
All the emotions you were feeling in that moment were overwhelming and contradicted each other. In that moment you felt happiness, sadness, and anger. Sadness because he was with another woman looking so happy, and they seemed to be in a happy relationship but having to see that he moved on hurt like hell. Happiness because you loved to see him smile and happy even if you couldn’t be the cause of it. Anger because of all the places he could have been in that moment it was in the same restaurant as you and you had finally gotten over him. In that moment it felt like the universe was working against you and shoving his happiness in your face when you were still looking for your happiness again. But, what hurt the most was seeing him so happy with someone and they were pregnant. It hurt because that was one of the main reason you two had broken up. You had always wanted kids and after dating for two years you decided it was about time you and Yuta got married and had kids. He wanted to wait a little longer but you both knew that you had to have kids soon because of medical reasons making it nearly impossible for you to have them in the future. So, whenever he refused to having kids you felt angry that he didn’t understand what you were going through and because you hated to make him frustrated by constantly bringing it up. After continuous fighting, you two decided to break up.
Seeing him with a pregnant woman made you feel so emotional and confused, all you could do was sit there and tear up. Your friend had noticed you tearing up. “Y/N, is everything alright?”, “Sorry, I just don’t feel so good. Can we go?”, “ Ya, sure. Let me just get the check.” Is all you hear as he hurriedly collects his things and goes to pay the bill. As, your leaving you make eye contact with Yuta. All you could think to do in that moment was smile and hope the best for him and his new girlfriend. Leaving Yuta to just look at you speechless as you left.
Little did you know, the woman with Yuta was his cousins wife and that he was just watching over her while they were waiting for his cousin at that restaurant. You also didn’t know that Yuta missed you just as much as you missed him. It hurt him so much to see you so happy with another man. The moment you left all he wanted to do was chase after you and hold you because of how much he missed you. But, all he could do was sit there frozen trying to process what had just happened as a single tear rolled down his cheek. His heart just as broken as the day you left.

Renjun pulls his hands away from yours to envelope you in a warm hug. You can practically hear the smirk in his voice when he said, “You still spoiled my pick up line. You’re going to pay for that, baby.”

“It sounds horrible but you’re my precious baby so I have to say ‘yes, you’re doing great.’”

“Get the fuck off my lap, I need to preform.” You commanded, practically throwing him off you and starting to jump around the practice room. “I guess it’s my time to lean against the wall and watch you be the idol?” He laughed at your dramatic preformance with love in his eyes.
