taeyongs unreleased song ¥£$ makes me wanna cry because the melody & beat create such a melancholy /dark vibe. i’ve noticed with his unreleased songs that he tends to drift to this type of beat and i honestly just want to talk with him about it. just wanna know what goes on in his head when he produces a song.

with this particular song (¥£$) he says “i may be psycho, moneys all i ask for” and as these lyrics may seem unoriginal, the way he sings them is incredible. no doubt this man is the king of duality but i always feel it goes deeper than that. he has his stage persona and then his off stage persona. his stage presence is so intense that i think it runs deeper than that. of course we have his cute personality off stage & on vlives, but i believe there’s a deeper part of taeyong that’s dark & brooding; a part of taeyong that’s damaged.

(TW - mentions of death/suicide) he has another unreleased song that we have a pretty long snippet of called blue. this song also makes me wanna cry but because it’s shows his damaged side more clearly. when i first listened through i immediately thought he was writing about dying. because the song is titled blue, with a short guitar pattern in the background, and the way he slides his voice i associated this song with sadness. he opens up the song saying “it’s okay it’s okay now” seeming as if he’s talking to himself. to me this is someone thinking everything is going to be okay once they commit suicide. then he goes into saying “in that, a filled galaxy, come find me, suddenly, we fly ” now if i didn’t know any better, and i didn’t know at the time, i’d think he was talking about his soul lifting from his body and ‘flying high’, as people sometimes say about those that have passed. getting further into the song it reveals that he’s talking to someone who should show him their lonlieness, and he’ll reciprocate that vulnerability right back and won’t shut them out. this goes to prove my thoughts of him being damaged. you don’t just make a song like this, not with the emotions he so clearly portrays, not only in the writing of the lyrics, but how he sings it as well.

maybe i’m over analyzing him, but i really wanna take a walk through his mind. yes i am in taeyong hours. pls console me
