Are Alastor’s antlers based on old radio tower antenna?

YES!!! and theyre fully functional! they not only pick up and distribute the sound of his voice, but also the soundboard he seems to have (more prevalently in the pilot) and any clip from any sort of video he wants to share, like how vox plays videos on his screen.

the sound waves in the middle move along with the frequencies of all of these things. id like to think his antlers are a big contributor to the radio static thats always surrounding him, too.

my Al’s voice also pretty much solely comes from his antlers and his microphone. his mouth never actually opens(like that one ‘this face was made for radio’ scene), his lips just move in general motions like closing, to the sides, etc. if his mic were to break like it did in ep8, he’d talk normally through his mouth and without the filter.
