So I dunno how y’all headcanon ages for the Wizard, but for me personally, I’ve always kind of had the headcanon that it’s like this:

Wizard City: the wizard is like, 12

Krokotopia: now they’re 13, idk

Marleybone: 14 now

Etc etc, basically I like to assume each world kind of is one “year” for the Wizard, which is probably incorrect but it’s what I personally like to headcanon because otherwise our wizards are stuck at 12 for like, a really long time and I just don’t vibe with that

What are your headcanons for the wizards age?

You make a wizard101 world based off of your hometown, or a favorite town/area. What does it look like? What problems & monsters does it have? What animals are most of the NPCs? If it were the next released world in wizard101, how would the main story continue and integrate with your world?

Mine would be a huge, towering redwood forest. There's a large river bisecting the entire world. Ospreys, the occasional eagle or bear, and racoons and grey squirrels and deer all are the NPCs. The monsters are fiery and trying to ruin the entire world. There are huge, hollowed out trees that are centuries old, and the homes are in root systems that can span across the entire world. Another danger would be a flood, and maybe earthquakes, and something is causing these natural disasters to increase in frequency.

Oooh, mine would be a huge city. The main area with the world door would be next to a river and it would be the nicest, most modern part with huge skyscrapers. Across the river you can vaguely see another city. The next two areas would be nice, but with slightly older and smaller brick buildings, and then every area after that would be run down and vandalized, long stretches of boarded up houses. Big empty fields filled with bricks and nails. The people of the world would be rats, mice, rabbits, dogs, squirrels, foxes, and raccoons. The enemies would be the normal above citizens who have joined a gang, are acting on crime alone, or are on drugs. The main story would be a gang leader or mafia don pushing “drugs” or the children friendly version, in order to brainwash the locals and take over the entire city, and then he plans to attack the city on the other side of the river.

mine would be more of a forest wasteland (?), it would mostly be empty of people but have lots of trees and other large and colorful plants. Its dark too, you can definitely tell its night, but its not an eerie dark, its welcoming and peaceful almost lulling you to sleep. The npcs would be smaller birds, blue jays and finches, there would probably be another type of npc too, red tailed hawks. the streets would be void of any npcs, they would be more up in trees or houses. the trees themselves would mostly block out the night sky but there would be slivers of moonlight shining through.

a bustling main street, covered in ports and docks. there's activism in every shop window, and the npcs are colourful and diverse. boats enter and leave every so often, from small pontoon boats with families on them to huge cargo ships. it's monsters are raggedy sirens, and the bridges and sidewalks that shield you from the flooded streets are all that keep you safe.

the problems range from stolen goods to family disappearances, though the lost family member is almost always revealed to have run off for fear of being disowned for something they were or had to do.

as far as the greater story? this world is a resting place. the monsters arent hard, and the influx of trading brings chance to gear up. it's protected from the drama of the rest of the spiral by being so small, and few even know of the main story. its a safe haven, if you will.

Mine would be a world made from mountains, with steep rocky pathways that lead you into dungeons and boss battles that take place within dark caves hidden within the rocky exterior of the mountains, the npcs would be deer (the most common), ducks, mountain goats, mountain lions, muskrats, mice, quails and sparrows with the homes being cottages at the bottom of the mountains with the homes getting bigger and larger the higher up the mountain you go, the entire world would be two giant mountains, with the main town being a grassy valley in between the two mountains, there would be a lot of canyons and each new area would be higher up the mountains, the main villain would be a mountain lion that has been corrupting the other animals, and to stop it you would have to find and create a natural cure using the resources the mountain gives you and fight the mountain lion at the very top of the mountain.

Death Magic Headcanons

So I was talking to a friend of mine and mentioned I had some headcanons on how death magic feels, and figured I’d share what I wrote about it

Okay so

I imagine death magic feels sort of like drinking caffeine

It gives you energy and can keep you going, but it isn’t the right kind of energy, it’s that kind of fidgety, twitchy, sickly energy that can cause headaches and migraines and all sorts of stuff like that

But it’s also addictive

Like, you are taking someone or something else’s energy to fuel yourself and it’s sickly and doesn’t physically feel great, but there’s this mental high that comes from it that creates that sort of addiction to it

Like, it’s exhilarating and that first burst of energy you get from taking someone else’s energy isn’t quite like anything else and it’s addictive, especially since the rest of death magic is so draining

Taking your own energy is especially draining, it physically weakens and sickens you, making your whole body shake and tremble, nausea building up in the back of your throat as things around you spin from dizziness

It’s hard and it’s draining, especially with the more energy you take

Otherwise, death magic is a sort of sickly magic

Using it doesn’t make you feel good, it’s draining and often a cause of insomnia and sickness, however you connect to the creatures you “bring back” to life, creating a connection with them that isn’t quite like the others, you are literally linked to their existence and it create a sort of codependency from it

You need them to fight your battles for you, and without you, they wouldn’t exist in the first place

If anyone wants anymore headcanons, lemme know, I have lots (and not just for death magic, it’s just the one I have the most for)

Adventures in Wizard101 pt 5

I finally finished Ravenscar and have moved on to Wintertusk, which tbh the only reason it took me so long to finish Ravenscar is because I wasn’t getting a lot of experience for doing stuff that usually would be getting be experience and I have also always found Grizzleheim sort of boring ngl.

However!

Wintertusk is???? Amazing????

It’s so stunning to look at, and like, I love how the set up is? And already the story is so good and I’m actually getting experience for things and it’s just??? Really nice, I like Wintertusk.

A little too much, honestly. I was going to also level Nora up a little but instead I just, never got off Sestiva because I wanted to keep doing Wintertusk quests.

Anyways, that’s about it, for anyone else that’s been to Wintertusk, what did you think?
