This is a spoiler free blog for Miraculous

Just in case anyone was worried, I personally hate spoilers. I don't even watch trailers for things these days. So I won't reblog/post anything I know is a spoiler until the related content has been released in full in the correct order. I also won't write anything based on spoilers on AO3 if you follow me there. I try to wait until content is officially streaming before acknowledging it in any way.

Since this is my pinned post, I'll add a link to my AO3. Fair warning, I write a mix of T and E content. By word count, it's mostly T, but it ends up looking like an even mix because the E stuff runs much shorter. You are welcome to make fanart, podfic, translations, etc. Anything that directly uses my text (ex: podfic) must be credited back to my stuff. Anything that's loosely inspired by my stories of that just uses my lore does not require a link, though I'd appreciate one and I ask that you please let me know about it anyway so that I can reblog/support it! I am very supportive of "inspired by" links on AO3 since it's a great way to give people additional stories to check out. You're always welcome to message me or send me an ask.

Hi, I saw that you posted some warnings about spam/bot comments on people's fics, and felt I sould share this one that a friend of mine asked me for advice about. I told her to report it, but idk if others would know to

psa to all writers, if you get a comment like this, it’s a bot and I encourage you to report it to ao3 as spam.

also I’d like to use this as an opportunity to remind myself and everybody that, with the surge of bot comments plaguing ao3 and how discouraging it can be for writers, it’s so important and appreciated to comment nice things on the fics you enjoy if you can. let the authors know you enjoy their works. seeing a genuine comment from a real person could really make their day.

Wow, that's...really something else as far as comments go.

Echoing the PSA. And remember:

if it's a (Guest) comment, then mark it as spam (spam button, as seen on the screenshot above).

if it's a (Registered User) comment, report it using the report link at the bottom of the page for that specific comment.

And always remember: generic comments that could apply to any story, especially from a Guest account and especially when they then go into weird tangents like stalking you or trying to contact you "from work" or trying to sell you on art commissions, are likely to be from bot accounts and not real people.

And to the second point of the post as well, if you read a fic you enjoyed, please make time to leave a comment on it, even if it's just a few emojis or an "I liked this, thanks for sharing!" It'll help combat the negative bot spam by adding more positivity.

And to anyone who reads my stuff but just doesn't have the spoons to leave a comment, I love you, thanks for reading, you're valid, and I hope you find more spoons soon. :)
